i have never ever been disappointed when I come here. I love bringing my family here when they visit - seriously no better Asian food locally in Danville. This is not gourmet Thai mind you, but it's good and I recommend my family and friends here all the time.
We have done takeout from Ruyee. The spring rolls and dumplings are fresh and full of flavor. They accommodate special orders of steaming tofu and vegetables with the sauce on the side. The place is large and perfect for large parties, but a little dark for our taste. I hear the sushi is also good.

The Fu Star is a wonderfully average Chinese buffet. Very no-frills, but they do manage to offer most common favorites along with a few selections for the kids. Dinner will run you less than $10 so it's a good place to eat on a budget. For that $10 you get barbecue ribs, shrimp cocktail, broiled salmon and a host of Chinese faves. If you can deal with the crotchety old lady who throws your fortune cookies at you, you should leave reasonably satisfied. She was more funny than annoying but honestly... she FLICKED the check onto the table like a frisbee and sent the fortune cookies flying. Time to retire, grandma.
