Things to do in Conyers
We have been gone from home for two weeks on a business trip eating seafood and trying new things. We decided we just wanted to stop for a little something on the way to Athens Georgia. The grub shack looked good. I ordered the shrimp with potatoes and corn and a boiled egg because it looked interesting. What I got was a gourmet meal for $10.99.It was kind of like a Lowcountry boil with a wonderful sauce. Not too hot but kind of Cajun and quality. Large shrimp at least a dozen of them two boiled eggs but then sautéed in the sauce. My husband and I both ate it. He had a hamburger that was wonderful. I think everything this place would do would be just as good. We went to Paula Deenâs buffet as well as other really wonderful restaurants. This place beat everything. Donât expect ambience and you get plastic forks and Styrofoam dishes.Youâre in heaven when you walk out of that place so it just really doesnât matter. Also we both ate for under $20. I think they have a lunch buffet that looked good. They even have Korean food ...lots of seafood.I found them on Yelp.
this place will always do in a pinch when you don't want to pay 30 or 40 bucks for Chinese, value isn't bad and you leave full, this particular one is ok, nothing great, you never know about the service, hit or miss, but pick your times and try going here just before the lunch rush or after, say around 2 or so.

Saw this restaurant featured on Atlanta Eats and thought we would try it since it is closer than going to Duluth. Having eaten at many Korean restaurants, I maybe should have adjusted my expectations. It is a fast casual restaurant but the prices are close to what you would pay at a full service Korean place. We ordered wings, the bulgogi plate, and a chicken bibimbap. The egg on the bibimbap was cooked hard instead of molten, the veggies didn't have much flavor. They charge extra for gojujang and $1 for 1/4 cup of kimchi. Wings were okay. Bulgogi was well flavored but served with veggies vs. Kimchi. If I am craving Korean in the future I will bite the bullet and drive to Duluth.

My husband and I frequent Tokyo in Conyers far more often than we would care to admit... and the main reason is CARLOS! He is a terrific, fast, and friendly sushi chef. He never disappoints! I love that we can request certain things like "extra spicy" for our spicy tuna rolls and he spices it right up! The lunch special is a deal and a half as well! And please don't get me started on the fried rice: TDF!

I have never eaten in the restaurant. I have picked up take out numerous times. I have tried many of the chinese restaurants in town and this is my favorite. I would say it is typical chinese fare. The food is good and the service is quick and friendly.
If you want large portions please go here. I had the shrimp hibachi and it came with large cuts of vegetables. The service was great and the rice was NOT dry! I like the atmosphere also.

My wife and I took the 2 great niece's here for dinner. I retired a couple of years ago from a Japanese company and visited 6 times. The food was pretty good, I had sushi, my wife a Bento box and the 2 great niece's had a large bowl of noodles. Everything was eaten and everyone was full. The staff was good, service good, the food good. Not real Japaese high quality but worth the price. I listened to a lot of staff talk but didn't hear much Japanese if any. This place gets very busy on Fridays. Get there early if you can. We will go back.
Paul (Nathaphak Maphu) was born in Bangkok, Thailand. He was born in family who do business in small food shop know as make by ordered food. He help his family business since young every afternoon after school he will help his mom cooking for customer. af
We tried this little place upon a recommendation of someone who kept raving about it. We loved it, everything we tried was delicious and served within minutes. We have found a new place for Thai. I think they will soon replace the number 1 restaurant for Thai food. Now it is a take out restaurant but do have several tables if you want to eat there. Try it I don't think you will be disappointed, we will go back soon.

My boyfriend and I tried every Thai place in and near Conyers during our 2 week stay and Baan Thai was by far the best. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and were given shrimp puffs to snack on while deciding what to order. We got the chicken curry puffs as an appetizer which were very tasty. I got the yellow curry and my boyfriend got the pad thai with chicken and both had great flavors. Our only complaint was that my boyfriend ordered his food extra spicy and it only came out medium spicy.

The food here is amazing. They have great lunch specials with a good variety and the atmosphere is awesome. We love eating in the outside dining area during nice fall and spring evenings.
