Reviews on Asian food in Concord, New Hampshire, United States. Concord's historic Main Street area is home to various sites of cultural significance, including Railroad Square, the Eagle hotel, which hosted such notable guests as Eleanor Roosevelt and Richard Nixon, The Pierce Manse, former home of President Franklin Pierce, and the State House, the oldest state capitol in which the legislature meets in its original chambers. Far more than the sum of its history, Concord boasts a popular planetarium, plentiful performing arts and an international speedway.

The food here is always tasty. My favorite in Concord. However, they have a new "happy hour" that they should re-name sad hour.We came in during happy hour and asked what the specials are.Waitress said "beers are mmmmmm about $2.50, i think" sounding very unsure, and "some of the drinks are $5.50" but doesn't specify which ones. We order a Sam Adams. She brings it over and informs us it isn't part of the happy hour. $4.25 for a bottle of Sam. She doesn't offer or bring a glass to pour it into. Then we order 2 appetizers, which are supposed to be $3.95 during happy hour. The check came and were charged $7.95 for each app. I asked about the happy hour? She has to go check on it, comes back and says they can take "some off the bill" but can't go down to $3.95 because we didn't specifically ask for "happy hour apps" which are a smaller size. I said ok, go adjust our check to what you can then. She comes back again and says "do you want to speak to the manager?" about the check? I was getting pretty mad by now and and just wanted to leave. She never even adjusted the check as she said she would. She said nobody has ever asked her about the happy hour specials before. They were in week 3 of this happy hour. They have a big sign out by the road advertising "happy hour". I guess they should put something specific on the menu with choices and prices. There was us (party of 2) and one other family in the whole restaurant so it's not like she was being rushed. When we asked about the happy hour specials when we arrived, and then we order apps, and you KNOW they are part of the happy hour specials, maybe as a waitress you should ask if we would like the regular size or the "happy hour" size. Don't advertise something if you don't want to deliver on it! From now on I'll just stick with take out.

Met family here for the Luncheon Buffet. Really good deal at $8.95. Lots of items to choose from, Chicken wings, dumplings, crab Rangoon and all the Chinese favorites , along with Italian dishes and salad bar items. Well worth the money and Rangoon,
This small restaurant (c. 15 seats at counter or table) is in the back of Kathmandu Bazaar grocery store. Try the samosa chat or any of the homemade meals prepared to order by Tensin, the hard-working chef. Momo, Tibetan dumplings, also excellent. Soups, hot and delicious, mix noodles with veggies and meats. Mango or plain lassi or teas. All delicious and cheap.
Hungry coming back to our home hotel from a Boston road trip, we decided we wanted Chinese take out. Rated 4/5, we thought we'd give this place a shot. Few minutes away from Fairfield Inn & Suites, we found it to be very convenient. Place is located in a small plaza and parking is no issue for pick up. No frills establishment, saw that there are seating areas but nothing fancy if 1 decided to dine-in. We called in to order and pick up was available after 10-15 mins, pretty quick service. Nice people & fair prices, they accept visa & mastercard for orders over $10. The food though is just average. Ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Chicken Lo Mein, Fried Bean Curd with Vegetables and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Nothing stands out. We've had better Chinese Food elsewhere... not really worth a repeat visit.

This establishment has been a solid fixture in the neighborhood for many years. They are always welcoming and provide a very good dining experience. Tonight we had the Amazing Prawns which was spiced to our request and absolutely perfect. The Tang Ting Shrimp was their only offering for a gluten free entree. While it was very good, I do wish they expanded their offerings from âwell the white sauce is GFâ. Still we had a pleasant experience and the Mai Tais were great.

Should have taken heed to warning reviews here. Waitstaff took three visits soliciting drinks before they finally arrived (by then, my hot sake was tepid and our guest's Martini room temperature). For reasons only known to management, the soy sauce at the tables is only the low-sodium kind, and it took multiple requests to get the regular kind (when it eventually was served, it was in a small bowl with plastic spoon). Miso soup was bland and in a very small bowl. Then they utterly lost me by serving sashimi with shredded carrots instead of daikon. Specialty sushi rolls were good. Not worth a repeat try here.

We had a great meal. The hot and sour soup and shrimp dumplings were delicious, and the 3 Delight Tofu Hit Pot was exceptional, everything tender and tasty. Even better was the Salty Spicy Baby Shrimp. It was crunchy and spiced to perfection. We shall return soon.

Contemporary Full service Thai Bistro with traditional Thai dishes. Full Bar with beer and wine available and Takeout is available.
Gave Siam Orchid a try as we passed by Concord and we enjoyed a delicious dinner. My wife ordered mango shrimp curry (Mango Curry**Choice of protein sautéed in a mild yellow curry sauce w/green peppers, onions, squash and fresh picked sweet mango---$16.95 plus an unusual upcharge of $3 for the mango!), and I had the Seafood Amazing special with calamari, shrimp, scallops, and (only 2!) shelled mussels served on a sizzling platter with onions, mushrooms, and peppers. The (2) mussels were very chewy, but the other items were cooked perfectly in a very spicy sauce---soooo good, as was the mango shrimp. We passed on dessert.Service and quality were quite good; prices, though not steep, seemed a bit higher than comparable Thai restaurants. There are a couple of tables for sidewalk dining and an inside dining area and bar. Major credit card accepted.

I visit Morimoto several times each year and find their sushi to be excellent. I have loved their Alicia Roll but Alvin one of the Sushi chefs noted I often order that roll...he suggested I try the Alvin Something Special roll. Likely the best roll I have had anywhere, USA or abroad. Bravo Alvin!Unlike far too many restaurants serving sushi, here the slice of fish, in addition to being excellent quality...taste and texture, is of generous proportion while the rice is modest and correct size. Too many other restaurants provide smaller slice of fish and larger rice so you are overwhelmed with rice. Bravo Morimoto.

Another "must dine" created by Chef Owner Scott Ouellette, O Steaks & Seafood South is located in Concord, ME. Offering only the freshest ingredients we work to bring you the classic steak house with something extra. Steak not your choice? Try the Lobster
I am a big fan of O. I really donât understand the criticism of the pricing. This is fine dining, a la carte... and such restaurants tend to be a little pricier. In comparison to other restaurants of this type, O is quite reasonably priced. In my opinion, if you want cheap, then go to one of the sundry chain restaurants. You want quality? You spend a little more and go to O!I typically get the 1/2 lb lobster man and cheese... it is to-die-for (and my favorite meal in the city). On my most recent visit I ordered the escargot and the Waldorf Salad. Iâm a devotee of escargot... and it was very satisfying. The salad was fabulous: everything was fresh and crispy... and the poppy seed dressing was divine. My wife had the crab cake appetizer and ahi tuna entree. The chili sauce on the crab cake was the perfect complement. And she said the tuna was absolutely perfect! As always the cocktails were tremendous... and the service was excellent. I highly recommend O...If you have yet to try the lobster mac - try it, youâll like it!
