We have eaten at Bamboo Inn (mostly takeout) many many times over our 12 plus years in the valley, thus thru many incarnations of this restaurant and various owners. Sometimes great, sometimes borderline/soso. Of late itâs been pretty good fare but our last order from Tuesday was outstanding! The shrimp were succulent and perfectly cooked, the Singapore Noodles perfectly seasoned, . . .6 dishes and all were totally delicious. Whoever the newest owners are I hope they continue with this excellent food.

Super freshly cooked chinese dishes at very reasonable prices. You can eat in or take away at the same price. You can choose varying portion sizes and can also have two or three combinations, excellent value

A lovely little Japanese restaurant tucked in behind Tim Hortons. Great sushi, wonderful service and a very relaxing atmosphere. Quite popular with the locals and they have many regular patrons. My husband orders from there every week and looks forward to his Friday sushi dinner. The cook/owner often comes out to make a personal connection. Everything is fresh and tasty!! Love to see a Bento Box offered in the evening but there are Bento Boxes for lunch. If you like Japanese food, you will have to try Ahra!

I lived in the Valley for five years, and have spent ~3 months of each year for the past decade back in the Valley enjoying life here. This Asian restaurant is by far my familyâs favorite restaurant for sushi.The family that owns and operates this restaurant are always friendly, attentive, and helpful. The decor is suitably Asian, though I have never seen more than half the restaurant being used (the back half where the mensâ washroom is).The menu is robust, with the usual appetizers, sushi rolls, sashimi selections, cooked selections, udon, and bentos. I really like the Donburi options for smething different.The portion sizes are fantastic for the money, well worth it when compared to the other Japanese restaurants in the Comox Valley.We come to this restaurant whenever we want good sushi, which is often. Highly recommended.

Everything about this place is wonderful!!! The awesome chef, the homey cosy atmosphere. The hand written menu on the wall with drawings. It's all just warm and wonderful. And the sushi is the best. We thought we'd said good bye to sushi leaving Vancouver but were we ever wrong!!!! Sushi Kobo is our home away from home. BEST SUSHI EVER!!!!
