Not much choices for Asian restaurants in this small, charming town.. The food is good, sushi is fresh, and service is good. Good for value!
Don't let this little restaurant fool you. The Chinese dishes are EXCELLENT!This may look more like a take out than a sit down, but either take out or dine in, you won't be disappointed. This is the BEST Chinese food in Columbia, TN.When I'm in the mood for fresh hot delicious Chinese cuisine; then off to New China for me.My wife and I give this little Chinese restaurant a perfect 10.If you try it, you'll be back...I guarantee it.Mr. Musicman

We order take out from them a couple of times a month. Their menu has a good variety of choices. The food is well prepared and you get a lot! We like Szechuan shrimp, General Tso's chicken, Lo Mein noodles, vegetarian dishes, curry dishes, and they have great fried rice. Has a few tables and is very clean. Friendly counter staff. Food is ready quickly - usually, ten minutes or less. In strip mall with Food Lion, so plenty of parking.
Vanh Dy's Asian Restaurant & Lounge is an upscale Asian fusion restaurant and bourbon lounge, specializing in Laos, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine with an American twist.
Was excited to try the newest place in town. Pluses are that they have a very attractive environment and the service was good. Beyond that, unfortunately the food itself was a swing and a miss. Although it seemed the dishes we received were freshly prepared for the most part, each one seemed to be a combination of various ingredients that nonetheless did not combine to provide much flavor, were both pretty bland. Don't recall exactly how much the pineapple mango cake dessert was, but was somewhere around $8 and was basically just a piece of sheet cake with whipped topping that had some pineapple pieces in it, but was the color of mango without the mango flavor (that we could tell, anyway). Check was about $40 without the tip, and was just not worth near that. Very disappointing, not interested in returning.

Since the other buffet converted to Japanese, we decided to try the Luck Bamboo buffet for our annual Christmas anti-establishment lunch. The food was actually hot and fresh, the service and décor were good. The only real issue we had was the awful Christmas carols screeching though the crackly speakers.
