Disgusting greasy rubbish.Burnt sesame prawn toast, that was so hard and almost black. Hot and spicy salt chilli prawns??? Not hot, not spicy and when did the prawn pass by. Certainly didn't stay. Oh, and these little delights are deep fried and 6 of them will leach enough oil to add to the fuel of your two-stroke Victa mower for the next year or two. Ko Po Steak, was very, very oily but tasted ok. Special fried rice......the special thing is, they have managed to remove all flavours of the contents. Very bland, gluggy fried rice.

You can find average restaurants like Nu-Deli anywhere. They're never inspiring and survive only because they provide alternatives in a sea of ambivalence. Nu-Deli has never been my favourite haunt. The decor is aging and the menu plain and uninspiring. Anyway to tonight's dinner. The evening started with a Bruschetta following an unduly lengthy wait to be served, however we were ushered to a better seat by the waitress as a reservation had fallen through. The two were not linked. Service at other tables was also noticeably slow. It's Tuesday evening so it's also a slow night for customers. I had Moroccan Chicken and she had Gnocchi Lamb. The lamb had to be deconstructed prior to eating, the presentation was done with such aplomb even Sir Les Paterson would have blushed! The chicken was on the tough side. I've added pictures of our meal. You can tell the Lamb, it's the one with chops swimming in a sea white liquid. A woeful exhibition of restauranting.

We had 30min to eat, so this restaurant was fast. We ordered at the counter and picked off from the menu board above the cooking area and could watch the food get selected and cooked. We ordered the combination soup, (menu entry = Thin egg noodles, seafood and meat in tasty chicken soup). It was OK but not really very flavorful, pretty bland. It was hot which was nice on a cold July day. The place was little run down and could have been cleaner. Biggest problem was the poor ventilation meant that your clothes and hair smelled afterward. For a tourist without laundry facilities conveniently available this meant days of our coats smelling.
Gourmet and fresh burgers, loaded fries and snacks with fusion taste, brought to you with an unique burger dinning experience !!!!
Called in here on a Thursday evening and very glad that we did. It obviously is a local favourite, plenty of phone orders and people waiting for their orders too. Very pleasant service (with a smile). We ordered a cheese burger and the Hot and spicy burger with large chips and serve onion rings. Firstly the onion rings were large, hot and crispy really nice. The large serve of chip $5 is really huge for two people so next time we'll get the smaller serve. My hot and spicy burger had an huge hearty Pattie and lettuce, jalapenos, tomato, mayonnaise, onion on a toasted brioche bun. Absolutely delicious. My husband had the cheese burger which he enjoyed but wouldn't have the jalapenos on it (he's not keen on spicy things). It was also an hearty burger as well.We saw the burger with lot (can't remember the name of it) and it is huge. Next time we'll have sweet potato chips as they looked good Look at the menu on line as there are some lovely ideas such as Fish burgers, Panko Prawns burger and lots of lovely suggestions.Very pleasant experience and will certainly go again.Well done!!!!

There is not much choice in Colac so we came here. It was good enough that we ate here for a second night. The first night, the place was almost empty. The service was quick and the food was tasty. The curries came with fresh vegetables and fresh spices. The portion sizes were also good. The second night was a bit busier but the service was just as fast. The food was consistently good; my partner had the duck which was still juicy with a crisp skin. The rice was steamed well and overall the price was relective of the standard of food. Curry with meat was around $20 which is just over £10 in the UK. It was more than UK prices but with no alternative this place can afford to be a bit more. If you are staying in the area then give this place a try.
The urban Vietnamese kitchen, with healthy and fresh food; hot and cold beverages.
Stopped for a snack on the way to Warrnambool. We had the spring rolls with mushroom ( very tasty ) and pork and mint rice paper rolls. These were delicious, plum with Ork and most enjoyable. We also had coffees to take away that were nice too.
