I recently ordered a lunch sushi to-go on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was clean, well organized, and the hostess was delightful. She promptly took my order, gave me an estimated wait time, and followed through. The lunch meal was packaged well and included all of the details- soy sauce, chopsticks, napkins, soup, and the main dish. I didn't have to ask for anything else. The sushi was delicious and the miso soup was still warm and flavorful after a short drive. I will definitely return!

We enjoyed our lunch here - typical US Chinese food, with plenty of selections to choose from. Take out and eating in sre both accommodated. We enjoyed our lunch here - many items, all the usual favorites. Service was fast and friendly. Park in the back lot of the Giant supermarket nearby, for easier access to the entrance.

This is currently my husband's favorite Chinese takeout. He says the friendly proprietor remembers him even when he hasn't been there for a couple of months. We both like the kung pao chicken and the Szechuan beef, although on a recent occasion it tasted more like barbecue to me. We also like the hot and sour soup.

Brand new restaurant in Columbia in the space of a former Chinese restaurant, but they have completely renovated and redecorated.. We have been there twice and found it consistently very good. Attentive and pleasant service. Delicious food which provides
Supposedly, this is our 2nd time at this restaurant. While the décor seems familiar, I remember nothing else. Telling. We went tonight, Xmas 2017, with a reservation. We noticed our movie running later than expected, so called, interrupting the final 15 minutes, to give the courtesy of calling to let them know we were running later than expected. We ordered by 6:45 (having arrived at 6:15) and at 7:45, NO DINNER. Did anyone come to explain the delay? NO. Did our server check on us? NO. Fed up, at 45 minutes post order, I told our server to box the meal up "to go" because we had a young dog to get home to tend to. 15 minutes later, still no food, my husband sought the manager, and the food came out moments later. While they did comp the entrees (we paid for appetizers and drinks.... fair enough), it was just too little too late. As we were leaving, we overheard the manager turning people away because they ran out of food. You would expect that the server would come to notify us that this is the reason for the delay, but instead we had to search for our server when no food had arrived. On another note, when placing our orders we had explained to our server, who did not seem to understand us in English as we had to repeat or point at the menu items we were ordering, that our son has a shellfish allergy. However, when we got home and he started eating his BEEF meal, he stopped eating minutes later indicating that his throat was starting to itch, a sign that he was reacting to something in the dish. I had personally explained to our server of his allergy and she was quite dismissive. Fortunately, his allergy is NOT life threatening, but that may not be the case for others. WE WILL NEVER, EVER RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT. In fairness, I have to offer that they comp'd 3 entrees, but my son reacted and mine had little shrimp in relation to the vegetables. We will NOT return.

Three of us had dinner there recently..I ordered the lobster and steak hibachi; one ordered the Hibachi combo and one ordered the Alaskan Sushi. All were delicious,Unfortunately, we did not sit in the main hibachi area, so was a little disappointed with that. However, they will still prepare the hibachi dinners from the menu. We also hasd 2 alcoholic drinks and desserts: the lemon one and the coffee one. They come in a small glass, but enough for 3 to share. All in all, the dinner was worth it...Large portions...we took home doggy bags!! Total bill was: $116.79...we did have a groupof for $30 off the price, which was great!! Would definitely go back again.

You can choose the amount of heat; but beware, the heat will only increase your desire to eat more of this delicious Indian food. Totally authentic Indian food, including meat and vegan dishes, you have such a difficult time trying to narrow down choices that you may need to return again and again! Make sure to order the fresh vegetable salad in case the heat of other dishes is too much!

My wife and I took in a movie and enjoyed a lovely dinner afterwards. We had the stuffed lettuce wraps and pork dumplings to start, the Mongolian beef and filet mignon for the main entree. The device was very good and our server Eugenia was excellent. Definitely make a reservation We'll be back again.

We normally save our visits to Sushi Sono for special occasions. Let me preface my comments by noting that I judge my Sushi by a single standard...the quality of its Uni! Not the rolls or the nigiri...the Uni. For the uninitiated, Uni is sea urchin. It looks like chicken entrails and the mouthfeel ox the same. It must be absolutely fresh or it takes on an essence of ammonia and the texture is not as velvety as the top samples of this delectable gift from the sea. While waiting on appetizers and drinks(Sapporo or Kirin Ichiban only please) the folks know that I will always ask to if they have Uni. If a place says no thatâs strike one. Itâs expensive and if nobody orders it, please reference the afore mentioned comment on freshness. Iâll then ask to sample it with our appetizer order. If it passes the test and the order goes forward. If not, itâs a plan vanilla one. Iâve never had to go plain vanilla at Sono. The rest of the menu is very creative.

My wife & I met our Baltimore based adult grandson at Katana for dinner over the weekend. He's been exposed to sushi for more than 20 years (along with his siblings) and really loves it. Thus, we've eaten sushi in many places in Montgomery County and near-by DC over the decades, but this was the first time at this restaurant. It was chosen as a good meeting point half-way home for both him and us. The restaurant was very empty, but we had to wait a considerable amount of time anyway. The portions were meager in size, the prices were higher than expected. However, the fish seemed fresh, and the Kirin Light was cold & delightful. The servers were attentive, and promptly delivered our drink and salad orders, but the main course was very, very slow.Cost for the 3 of us was about $100.
