My daughter and I visited My Thai for dinner. I ordered the mango curry. If it was socially acceptable I wouldâve licked the plate clean. My daughter got the pad Thai and she really liked it ( and sheâs a bit of a pad Thai connoisseur ). The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and everything is very clean. We will definitely return.

Chesterland boasts four Asian restaurants at present, My Thai, Hunan Chester, Pari (Indian), and Wah Sun. Of these, the two Chinese restaurants are Hunan Chester and Wah Sun. Wah Sun has been around as long as I can remember, and may be one of the oldest Chesterland restaurants still in business.Wah Sun is in the Geauga Market House, on 306/Chillicothe, maybe 1000 feet north of 322/Mayfield. The Market House is itself kind of an unusual structure, one that can't find a perfect use from it's prior function as a local market. Most recently, we got take-out here, but came away less than entirely impressed. The space itself has some charming elements, but also is in need of refreshing. I liked elements like wooden screens, but my sense was that some of the restaurant space was being used for storage and some was simply cluttered. As much as anything, it needs some rejuvenation, keeping the traditional elements, but giving it a fresher look. The service was pleasant, but I almost felt as if the waitress viewed this as a sideline from her day job in a factory. The food? Standard Chinese fare. We had the General Tso's chicken, which was OK. Decent, but no better. I know that there are those who swear by the food here - maybe we were just there on an off night. If you have a hankering for Chinese food in the area, consider Wah Sun or Hunan Chester, across the street more or less. If you want a sit-down dinner, My Thai is recently renovated, and Pari is undergoing renovation and should be reopened shortly.
I'm not sure what type of food is their specialty. They serve American food which is just "ok" ... Typical bar style food. They serve Asian food as well which typically isn't on the menu, but is supposed to be authentic and good ... Although I didn't have the courage to try it. The prices are good both for the food and the drinks. But, my wife and I typically drive by and opt to eat at other establishments in town.
