Have enjoyed high quality good tasting Thai food at this South Chandler/Ocotillo area restaurant several times over the past two years. On my last visit I noticed an âunder new managementâ sign. We ordered takeout and were very disappointed in the quality as taste of the food â favorite dishes gone downhill. The Pad Thai has starchy and all stuck together and lacked flavor. The How and Sour soup was a watery spice broth with oversized chucks of veggies â not well prepared and tasted awful. There was one item however that Iâve never had that tasted wonderful â Tempura Avocado. Iâve never seen or tasted thisâ¦.it was really good. Maybe an off night.

Food=5, Service=1I've eaten at Chodang for 4 or 5 years, and they have the best yook ge jang, and great bulgogi and bibimbap. Sadly, though, the attitude has been slowly deteriorating, especially near closing time. I get the feeling that we're more of a chore for them than valued customers bringing in dollars. The final straw for me was last week we were there about 8:30, and were enjoying dinner when at about 9:25 a manager came over and barked "you need to be out in 5 minutes". We still had food and beer left and was surprised with this treatment. Previously here, and at other restaurants, we'd get a last call and be left alone to finish while they start cleaning up. So, if you want good Korean food and want to be appreciated for the money you spend, go somewhere else. If you don't mind management acting like they're doing you a favor by letting you spend your money there, then you'll be fine here.

Met a friend here for a late dinner and drink. Good selection of Japanese whiskies and we shared the lettuce wraps with shrimp and then shared the surf and turf with scallops and steak. Flavor was good all around. They brought us fried rice instead of steamed, but it was good. Took quite a while to get our check at the end, but we didn't need to be anywhere, however my buddy was getting irritated and truly how long it took. I would go back again.

We read reviews and decided to stop at Shimogamo. It atmosphere in informal and the people very friendly. We caught snatches of other conversations around us and they were very outgoing to everyone. The service was very quick and helpful. The sushi was wonderful. It won an award for the best sushi in the Phoenix metro area. Shimogamo is worth a stop if you are in Phoenix.

Every time we are in this part of town we stop in for a meal. No matter what we pick it is always good food. The hard part is figuring out what we want to eat as we want it all. The service i always excellent. During the week it is good to be there before 11:40 or after 12:30 as the place is really popular.

We thought it was ok..not like traditional Thailand food more Americanized. If you use to the real deal this is only 3 star. We tried dumplings which tasted good and home made. Papaya salad was poor came on top of lettuce with wilted tomatoes. Kind of wierd...Salmon with ginger and peppers was below average in a watery sause. Had dragon beef was tough and no sauce no spice. It was basically an over priced rib eye with no thai taste. Big hit and a miss as we love thai food in Calif. So we were disappointed as most thai food is in AZ.Service was ok plenty of customers seemed to enjoy it as it was busy.In a old strip mall bad shape plaza. A bit overpriced and not the authentic dishes we love to eat.

Got out of the heat to grab some cocktails and appetizers. The kimichi fries, kung pao Brussels sprouts and indo-chine cauliflower were excellent. Service was top notch as well. Nice thing about PF Changâs is very consistent do you know what youâre getting

Went to this restaurant tonight with friends who have been here before. Our first visit. Staff were very friendly and informative. Had lots of suggestions. Hot and sour soup...delicious. Our three dishes, Mongolian beef, stir fried veggies and general tso chicken were excellent. All came out very fast and hot. The sauces were not thick and sticky but flavourful and perfect. Then there is the entertainment. Really good band and singer playing all sorts of music. Listened to some Frank Sinatra, Elvis, George Strait, Louis Armstrong (fabulous), Johnny Cash, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, etc. etc. Was a wonderful evening. Food and entertainment for $20.00 per person. Loved it.
