Wonderful dinner after a day of exhausting work. We were delighted with their plentiful and tasty dishes from curry to Pad Thai. Possibly family run and you felt like you were dining at their home. Nothing extravagant but truly clean and fresh. Thai ice tea was a treat.

Fabulous Japanese food! Clean restaurant. Went here for the soft shell crab tempura dinner and was not disappointed. Generous portions, ample sides (came with salad, soup and rice) and delicious. We also order the shrimp yaki soba (a gluten free choice) and it too came with soup and salad and an assortment of tempura vegetables. More than enough food, all of it fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it

We were in Marina for a long weekend and I found this place after googing "Korean bbq in marina, California." The yelp reviews looked promising so we decided to check it out. When we were driving we became a bit skeptical and almost decided to find somewhere else to eat as it is located in a residential area that looks a bit run down and depressed. The parking is interesting. Its a little building that is shared with a thrift shop and there are only a handful of spaces. Upon entering, its a nicely inviting little restaurant with a few partitioned off tables and a few tables in the open space. We were seated right away. We ordered the galbi (beef short ribs), the kimchi pancake and a noodle dish that I forget what it was called. It was glass noodles with beef and veggies, lots of mushrooms. All of it was really good. The galbi was really flavorful and tender. The noodles were tasty. The kimchi pancake was a star. It was even better with the spicy dipping sauce it comes with. This pancake is really huge. Not really what I would call an appetizer, but that's why its 13 bucks (around there if I remember correctly). Very nice assortment of banchan. It was kind of on the pricey side and other than the pancake, the portions aren't huge. But I would go back. The food really was very good and I'm sad we don't live closer. The experience has inspired me to look for a better Korean restaurant closer to us though.

Been coming here for many years now. Cuisine is always fresh and flavorful. They don't use MSG and food is not overly sauced. To-go items are always ready in about 20 minutes. My husband who normally won't eat Chinese food loves this place, and he is super picky too! Never once had a bad meal here and that's saying a lot for Monterey Peninsula which is know for inconsistent dining.

Surprisingly good! Weren't expecting all that much as we hadn't done any research, only got the recommendation from the concierge at the holiday inn express - and we were DELIGHTED with the portion size and flavors - excellent quality (sweet and sour chicken plus vegetable chow mein plus fried rice) - top notch, wolfed it down and there was nothing left! Will be back next time we're in town!

We heard about Ichiban Sushi from the owner, who also owns our favorite place for a burger, Aromas Grill in Aromas. Well worth the drive to Prunedale: very fresh fish, efficient service, and great preparation (including some inventive and well-balanced rolls). The Bento Box lunch includes soup or salad, vegetable tempura, two or three selections from a varied list of hot and cold items, and doesn't include rice which makes for a more suitable lunch-sized meal. This was definitely the best sushi that I didn't pay a fortune for. We'll be back.

Filling, vegetarian and regular options-- sort of Asian fusion. The mixed vegetables with BBQ tofu over rice vermicelli was really good. Husband's dish of eggplant & mushrooms over rice was OK but a little bland & dry. Quick and friendly service, reasonable prices. A little hard to find-- tucked behind Lee's Garden Chinese restaurant in the shopping center. Look to see where most of the cars are parked-- their owners are most likely eating at the Noodle Bar.

My wife and I discovered this wonderful gem years ago while on a coastal road trip and we've made a point of going by EVERY TIME we're even close. Everything on the menu is delicious and surprising. Fish and seafood is always fresh. My highest recommendations to get to this place asap.

A friend persuaded me to try this place recently, and it is now my favorite Japanese restaurant, even beating Shogun. This is more modern Japanese food, and they feature several fried rolls. The volcano roll is excellent -- a bit spicy, but good -- and the terminator roll is also excellent. The texas holdem roll is not too bad either. They have a salmon teriyaki box that is also great. The teriyaki sauce, like at Shogun, is a real sauce, not a thin brown glaze. The people are friendly and cheerful. The owner came out and spoke with us, and the sushi chef came over to see if we were enjoying the meal. This was one of my favorite experiences ever in a Japanese restaurant.
