On a fairly unassuming street corner, this small restaurant is doing something different. Elegant and unusual food, prepared before your eyes (the kitchen is 'in' the dining area). Prices are higher than the average in surrounding restaurants, but there's a very good reason for that. This is definitely not average food. Great service too.

We discovered this restaurant later in our holiday but still managed to eat there 3 times; the food was that good! The ingredients are fresh, and you can tweak the dish to get your own special kind of spicy or not. The food here is amazing, some of the best Chinese dishes we have ever eaten. The staff are friendly and accommodating and do their utmost best to give you a pleasant and memorable evening. I loved the spicy chicken with peanuts and deep fried ice cream. Highly recommended

While the ambiance is nice at this restaurant, the food is no where near ârealâ Japanese sushi. Itâs a nice change for the locals who want to perhaps try something different, but for those who are accustomed to more authentic fare, weâd suggest skipping this one...

We had a marvellous meal at the Delhi restaurant. The owner was super friendly and the food delicious. We started with poppadoms and onion bhaji (which were beautifully light and crispy) then had a medium spiced tikka massala and a Karahi, which were both excellent. This is our second night of a week long holiday and we may visit the Delhi again it was so yummy.

Small, specialist restaurant with mix of Thai, Chinese, Indian food. Very tasty, starters, salads, main course. Friendly service. Will have to wait if full as tastes freshly cooked.Can eat indoors or on patio facing road. We ate here twice and recommend it highly.Wine list. Large helpings.

Another holiday visit to the best Indian restaurant in town. This is a popular restaurant with locals, ex-pats and visitors and rightly so. We found this gem a few years ago and go back now every holiday. Delicious food, subtly spiced, and friendly, welcoming staff. Wouldn't be a proper visit to Funchal without going here. You would do well to book. Plus, if you book from Funchal hotel they will provide free transport to/from the restaurant.
