Away from the beach, so requires a walk through the village (with the approach being pitch black at night), and oddly, when I went, I was the only guest, but the staff were amazingly welcoming and friendly, and the food was great. The starter I had of vegetable tempura was really well cooked and actually a large enough portion for two.Octopus for a main course was tender and flavoursome.Make sure you ask them for some of their fresh chilli mixed with oil to make a dipping sauce - It blows your head off but is delicious and addictive (and washed down with a cold beer, the perfect thing to have with dinner).

Come and enjoy! Cosy, african decorated restaurant with good food for nice prices. Beautifully located on a rock you can enjoy the incredible view through the palm trees to the sea. Relax in our lounge areas with a nice cocktail and check your e-mails. Op
From the outside the kitchen seemed really really clean, which is not always the case in Zanzibar. The food was nice without being exceptional. Sea food platter is a very good option but be sure to book in advance. The service was really good and really well organized even for a large group, which is clearly not always the case in Tanzania or in this part of Africa. The management can also arrange a special romantic place for you if you ask, for a special occasion for example.

The Palm Bar & Restaurant located at Cristal Resort in Paje. The Palm offers elegance and a magnificent view to the guests while partaking a scrumptious meal. We offer a great tasty menu to our customers, depending on their varied tastes. From seafood to
Good selection of cocktails. Friendly and helpful staff is looking after you well. I don't think it serves any African food during the normal day, but have great Thai and Indian food. If you have a chance to book Maasai show, do it. Food was amazing (local food) and show was really good too. After the show you will have a chance to buy very overpriced souvenirs. It was very difficult to knock prices off.We just wanted to be nice and buy something of them after the show, but I wouldn't bother next time.
