What Happened Here...Food prices through the roof...selections seriously reduced...proportions have been cut by a minimum of 30 %. OMG. Told by General Manager that it is their decision to "upscale" and "streamline" their menu. Here is the cool part...there was more hair in my starter salad then lettuce. Not a single strand but hair ruffage with my ruffage. Apparently the new upscale and streamlined salad. HEALTH board pay attention...do not delete this people need to know. Then to add even more insult...I had to prove I was not a "bot" at Zendesk by identifying traffic lights in pictorial grid before accepting my complaint of being served a hairy salad. It should be mentioned that the Manager sent a pathetic 50.00 ... apology gift card that expires in 2019 and must be used at HIS location only. This was sent only after a complaint to corporate office. Hmmmmm. Ask yourself...would you go back to the same place that served you organic dental floss and trust them again under pressure of an expiry date? If you can actually say yes then I have a 50 card going cheap...Good Afternoon, this is extremely concerning and we want to make this up to you immediately. Could you please fill out a short form at reviews.milestonessurvey.com? Your reference number is 52260903-KR. Thank you.

Went there for lunch with a friend, the place was really busy, which is always good indication, they had long list for lunch special.I got the spicy shrimp which was good, smaller portions than i expected but good for lunch, they also brought sour soup and spring role which was good. Will come back again.

Comfort sushi and crispy rice bowl with tempura, teriyaki and sashimi
This was my first visit here and I can say it most definitely will NOT be my last! Wow what a cute little spot tucked away in the plaza. The ambience is wonderful, the staff incredibly gracious and attentive and the food.....incredible!!Hands down the best sushi and poke bowls Iâve ever had (and I do enjoy this cuisine frequently). So fresh tasting and presented beautifully! We shared the spicy salmon rolls to start and I had the tuna poke bowl as my entree and it was decadent! 5 stars for sure!

We prefer this Mandarin over the one on Upper James in Hamilton. We have frequented this location for a number of years and have always had great food and service. This was not the case on our most recent visit. I found the chicken balls very tough (difficult to cut and chew). The pepper steak was so hot that it was impossible to eat. The roast pork was very fatty. The croissants were so small (smaller than usual). Many of the other dishes were not up to the usual standards we have come to enjoy over the years. Maybe it was an off day in the kitchen BUT they really should do a little better on their quality control (try the food before you put it out). We'll given this place another chance to see if things get better, but that's about it.

went for lunch with a large group. We were easily seated, but restaurant was busy. Ordered the spicy tuna and salmon roll, ingredients were very fresh and sushi chef knew what he was doing. Others in group were also impressed with quality of sushi. Family owned establishment, service was excellent. Prices for lunch were very reasonable. Very clean. In a large mall at corner of dundas and walkers, lots of parking. will return

We three dined here last night and were delighted with the food and sake. We shared numerous plates of both Japanese and Korean fare. The seafood was 2nd to none and the Korean beef dish was outstanding. Sake was top notch and the desserts were fresh and tasty. The room is cozy with private seating, open seating, booths and a sushi bar. Rather unfortunately, the service was poor. Very bad. There was no shortage of servers but we were overlooked from the beginning. (Even though our table was right beside service station and bar.). We waited a long time for a drink order and finally waved them down. When we asked a question regarding the menu, we were instructed to read a laminate card on the table. We were looking for knowledge and customer service, to no avail. Our order included many plates which were not cleared in a timely manner before the next round came. At no time were we checked on. Basically the service is non existent until you raise your hand. However, we will return with this, (and more time allotted) as the food is incredible. Kudos to the chefs.

My friend and I scouted several restaurants along Brant Street, decided upon this one and did we ever made an excellent choice! We selected several appetizers and shared them, each one perfectly prepared and presented and so delicious. Our server was congenial and obliging. The venue is small but nicely arranged. Prices are reasonable. I recommend Mikado 100%.

I have been to dozens of different sushi places in and around Toronto over the past four decades, some being so-so, others much better. This restaurant in midwest Burlington rates among the finest of the art of sushi in my experience. It is in an unassuming multi-business mini-mall tucked away where you canât see it from the road, just its name on the signage that caught our eye when we were scouting a quick and healthy spot to eat. We are now so glad we chose here.It wasnât very busy but, then again, it was after the typical lunch crunch (1-ish). Once we ordered and were served, we were the only people left. It appears to be a 2-person operation, and the lovely hostess/server was very friendly. The chef was always very serious and barely acknowledged us. Then again, he was concentrating on deftly slicing the seafood without making âcut finger sushiâ.My wife ordered their sushi assortment (12 pieces) on a rectangular plate. I ordered the Chirashi Sashimi. Both plates were magnificent to behold, only made better by sampling the exquisitely tender and fresh fare. I am providing photos to show his magic. We were served the typical small bowl of miso soup to start (very nice, too...not too salty). Unlike some other places, our meals did not include a small salad, but we were well sated nonetheless. The decor is minimalist, having very simple tables and chairs, with the seating capacity at tables being roughly 20. There were many more seats around the sushi bar itself where you can see the samurai of seafood in action. The washrooms were also rather spartan but clean, just as you would expect. Theyâve been open for three years, but should have a long ride in this competitive business with performance like this. Highly recommended. If you want a fancier-looking place for a special function, there are many more options, even in the suburbs. But if you just want sushi prepared perfectly for a casual nosh, this is the place for you.

Recently went to Martini House for dinner. Based on some of the reviews, I had pretty high expectations, and my expectations were blown out of the water. We started with a nice Pinot and then had the Chef's special for the evening. Everything was spectacular, fresh flavors, beautiful sauces, vibrant colors, it just does not get any better. Service through out the evening was also excellent. Highly recommended.
