Wow. Wow. A relative newcomer to add to repertoire of Thai restaurants in area; rig in the heart of Somerville. More in the gourmet with desire to make a name for themselves than the traditional standard fare places. I am a sucker for Soft Shell Crab and the appetizer served with a summer salad was fantastic. Light and refreshing but full of flavors. The Chicken with Garlic was excellent as was the Chicken Kratiem. Only comment was that level of heat was not asked. Chili sauce on side fixed that. Both were served with a fried egg. Desert was Fried Banana with Nutella or fruit sauce.Decor, ambience and service all top notch. Will be back. It is BYOB.

I love downtown Somerville, all the great places to eat and beautiful decorations this time of year. This was my first time going to Sushi Palace and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the quick service and delicious fresh food. The rolls were phenomenal and I even ventured out to try an eel roll! Very fun time with great friends.

Hoped this restaurant had the same ambiance and especially the fantastic cooking as its predecessor. Freshness and presentation is not there. The restaurant is also not easy to get to given its location in a shopping center off of 202S near the Bridgewater circle. Particularly disappointed that the House Duck Special salad over drenched the crispy duck.

Five Friends enjoyed five different Pho Soups and Appetizers.Arron suggested some of the traditional house favorites and served us with smiles during our 2.5 hr R.O.M.E.O. lunch. (BYOB)The regular size Pho is way more than an average person can eat. The appetizers are also huge and everything is large enough to share.Attractive presentations of Vietnamese food (a bit bland) at Pho's although at very good value.

Good attentive service. Huge varied menu with Thai, Chinese and Malaysian dishes.Had the Malaysian curry chicken hotpot very tasty and the chicken with cashews and broccoli also good.Would return and recommend. A BYOB and a liquor store across the parking lot for your convenience.

Went here with a group of friends for lunch. We shared dumplings and chicken wings as starters - both good. A buddy and I shared plates, so I got to try both the Stir-fried Spicy Pork and the Bulgogi. Pork dish served in a stone bowl which kept the food hot - hot enough to finish cooking the sunny-side egg meal was pleasantly topped with. The beef dish was very nice flavor. Happy to return.

The habachi show is quite entertaining. The soup and salad is good, the main is average. Sushi was fresh, gyoza not too good, edamame hot and well cooked, tuna is fresh, no ama ebi, only steamed, but good and fresh hotategai nigiri.

Pinoy Filipino Restaurant provides food for the soul with an Asian flare. A combination of Spanish, Polynesian, Chinese and American; Filipino food provides for unexpected taste pleasures with a soul food feel. Rated the best Filipino Restaurant in Centra
Decided to try their lunch buffet special today and we are certainly glad we did. We had never had Filipino food before.Their lunch buffet is an all you can eat, but they serve you meal, so the word buffet has a slightly different meaning. The food was delicious and different. The meal started with a salad with a ginger/ sesame made house dressing. Then we had soup which was a ginger broth with chicken and spinach. Each meal comes with jasmine rice and tasty glass noodles. We had fish cakes, a pork dish, a chicken dish, a beef dish, and a squash with a coconut milk sauce. Courses are refilled as you need them. Husband and wife team were very friendly and had good service. They make homemade ice cream but we were too full to try it. They have outdoor seating as well and they are on the pedestrian walkway in Somerville. We were really glad that we tried the restaurant today because everything we had was delicious. The menu changes so you can call to find out what's on tap for that day, but there is always a beef, chicken, and pork dish on the menu. They have a very interesting dinner menu as well, but this lunch meal was our first try. And might I add this great meal was only $10 on weekdays and $12.50 on weekends. Also, since this is a food that we had never had before, this was a good way to try some of the basics.

We have come to this moderately upscale Restaurant several times over the years, and this time dined with some neighborhood friends. It is located in a cool and renovated part of downtown that always has some memorable art installations all around. We have noted its tasteful décor of brass lamps, an aquarium, and hand painted wooden shades with pretty accent pieces inside. The building that it is located in, is by itself an elegant one with lovely architectural details. It is a very popular place, and in spite of having made reservations, we had to wait for quite some time before getting a table. The food and service have been consistently good. The aromas, tastes, presentations and vibes are always spot on. On this visit, we tried several different dishes, and every single one was creamy, delicious and packed with flavor. For Appetizers, we shared the Chicken Sate and Duck Salad. For the Main Course, we had the Salmon Garlic Curry, Pad See Ew and the SukoThai Red Curry with Chicken. The Dessert named Mango Paradise was out of this world. We had arrived with a lot of expectations about the food, and every single one was met and surpassed. As for the ambiance, it is anything but romantic and cozy. The noise level because of the wood floors and the resonating copper ceiling causes people to lose that special intimate feeling.Just come here for the food. It is amazing! We will certainly return.

Busy for a Tuesday night, very good service always filled our water and explained the specials asked if everything was OK.Had a special appetizer seafood in a puff pastry with a delicious curry sauce, chicken pad thai.Would recommend and return. Only complaint was bad acoustics, maybe take away next time. Too loud for a nice conversation or a romantic dinner.
