I have been a customer since this restaurant opened. However in the last few months it seems to have gone down in my ratings. Don't feel that you get as much food. The service has not been as good. Because we eat there so often went for my birthday. Website says free birthday meal. SURPRISE They don't give a free birthday meal!!! Very disappointed. So don't go expecting one. Just because the website says so doesn't mean a thing. Took family again last week. Did not mention the birthday thing because we were celebrating a family members. Service was not up to par. Sad because I really did like the food.Don't know if they are under new management or what but I am thinking we will have to start going back to the oriental restaurant in town we used to go to all the time. Sad because we had such good food, experiences and memories here when it first opened. Oh well!

Located in an old Shoney's that has not been renovated, the place doesn't look impressive in any way. The food actually was good, well seasoned, and attended to very well. The coconut chicken was very sweet and tasty, while the octopus was quite tough. The salmon was very nice and the Hershey ice cream makes a fun desert. Overall the place was not very clean, while the toilets were a complete mess. Too bad.

We have chosen this restaurant as our "go to" for very good asian food. We think it is the best in Boone.
We are a quick serve Vietnamese Pho, Banh Mi, and Infused Tea restaurant.
we were looking for a lunch spot on freshman move-in day and most places had really long Waits. We were super excited to walk right in to this little cafe. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. You can create your own phone. I wanted mushrooms in mine and I had just run out but the employee finished up everybody else's orders and went in the back and sliced and cooked fresh mushrooms and brought them right out to me. Great customer service! The food was really good. Nice casual and inexpensive place to have a quick lunch. Definitely give it a try.

We eat here whenever I'm visiting my daughter who is a student at App State. Great noodle dishes and sushi. It's a cozy restaurant that can get very busy. Like that it's BYOB. Can't wait to go back!

Always good. I used to eat here when I was in grad school 15 years ago. Same great taste and good value. This is where the locals eat. Best American style Japanese food in town by far.

On a small side street downtown, next to a few other restaurants. The dishes were very sweet and unremarkable. The service was good but the food was generic Thai, probably good for those less adventurous visitors who may never have tried Thai food elsewhere.

We recently visited Makoto's on a slow day. Service was good, the salad and ginger dressing was amazing as always. Rice was good, carrots would have been better with a little time on the grill. Everything was salty...I guess you just can't escape that with Asian food unless you prepare it yourself. Our Chef was very good entertaining the kids.
