Modern, decidedly Asian and unlike anything youâve ever experienced before, thatâs Ms.Gâs. Enter through a door bathed in pink neon to find four floors of unexpected dining; including a graffiti wall, communal tables and even a veggie garden courtyard. Jo
This restaurant brands itself as "Asian fusion" and does offer some original ideas. Not all work though. The misses include the cheesburger spring rolls (unless you like the revoltingly fake, pinky goo that passes for cheese at McDonalds) & the oddly bland textural salad. On the other hand dishes like the burrata, chicken wings, the bok choi and wagyu beef are both interesting, full flavoured and great eating. The 2 deserts tried were interesting and good.Value is not particularly good. The banquet (easiest option when confronted with so many unfamiliar options) is $69 ahead on a Sunday. Drinks are extra & not cheap.Service is friendly but it can be difficult to attract the waitress at times.Decor is deliberately edgy & ragged with mismatched dinnerware & bare table tops giving an impression of a cheap joint which is not borne out by the bill.

When I read other people's reviews on this website I must wonder if anyone who visited this place actually knows anything about Vietnamese food... I have learned to lower my expectations when I read reviews about 'exotic' cuisine made by people living in fancy suburbs, but this one was just way off...While not bad, I thought the food was extremely bland, absolutely not authentic AT ALL, and massively overpriced.I ordered the fried spring roll to start with, which is always a 'tester' for me in a Vietnamese restaurant, and usually gives a good idea about the quality of the place. 8$ for 4 very small rolls, and (not kidding) half a lettuce leaf. First, the dough of the rolls were nothing like what they are supposed to be, soggy, heavy, it did not feel like it was made in the restaurant but rather frozen or industrially made. Then, the lettuce... I am sorry but when you eat spring rolls in true vietnamese place, you are served a full plate of lettuce leaves, mint etc... usually more than you need. Defineltely more than half a leaf. 8$ for that, it was a tough start. Then I ordered the marinated pork vermicelli salad, 18$ (!!!). Better be spot on for that price. Sadly it was not. Super bland, I needed a ton of sauce to flavor that dish. Usually this is serve with plenty of herbs and is packed with freshness, but this was just nothing like that. The pork itself was really good, but the rest was seriously nothing special, I have had 7$ takeouts that were better and bigger than this.I initially wanted to order more stuff but after these 2 dishes I just gave up and had dessert at home later. Not that the food was bad, but it was too expensive and average at best.Huge disappointment, and I seriously do not understand how this place be so highly rated, I urge people who went there to drive a little bit further out and try 'real' vietnamese food in a more authentic neighborhood maybe.

Went there (4 adults + 2 kids) for Saturday lunch, got lucky since no reservation available. Food and service were great. If any suggestions would be related to the size of the roles, too big for a mouth serve ended up having to bite and roll just dismantled into pieces.

We ate here tonight based on ratings and were not disappointed. The place has an awesome vibe, dim lighting and nicely laid out. The food was fresh and tasty - the sesame spring rolls are an absolute must! This will be on our list of places to return! One point knocked off for slightly patchy service, but thatâs being pedantic! Itâs a must try! Youâll enjoy!

I ate at Sushi train last week. The staff clearly take thanking their customers very seriously - in time the staff will call "Thank you very much" as you leave the restaurant. The staff are very attentive. Lots of families and solo shoppers (as Westfield is close by)were eating there. There seemed to be a wide range of sushi choices - hot and cold. Spicy items were clearly labelled. Plates ranged from $3 to $8, but most in the $3-$4 range. Overall service was excellent and the food was very nice.

One of the warmest and friendliest customer experience I had. Very professional server and welcoming service at the entrance door and out. They offer a wide range of vegetarian options, perhaps my choice wasnât the best, but I wasnât impressed at all: very salty and it arrived too quickly to be made on the spot. It wasnât very easy to digest at all furthermore. After the opinions I read here I had high expectations and I really wanted to give a nice review considering the nice service, but the food just was not at the level at all.

Authentic delicious food, some very attentive Indian Waiters. Lovely Decore, love the very oversized glasses. View of the passing parade and fire station at The Cross is the best to be had. Weâre regulars, it was so lovely to meet The Restauranteur last evening whoJails from Kerala, in Southern India where weâd visited a few years back. LOVED INDIA.Parking can be tricky. However Kings Cross Parking Station is a five minute walk.

Really nice little place with outdoor seating near the ocean. Massaman curry and chicken pad thai good. Kingfish appetizer and black sticky rice dessert excellent. Some wonderful hard ciders (agave ginger!). The staff are incredibly nice, good service.

Blanca is a very modern restaurant whose design instantly impresses. Open, airy and unconventional, it is a very pleasant space to be. Staff were efficient and the food enjoyable. Try the buns, the croquetas, the prawns, the pork ribs ... Try everything, in fact. You're unlikely to be disappointed with the Japanese/Asian/European flavour mix.
