Saroor in South Fremantle has amazing Indian Food with a difference, try having a few of the starters like the fantastic Chat Samosa, combined with the amazing Tandoori lamb chops. The staff are just fantastic, there are nice seating areas outside, semi outside and inside. Agreat place for a lunch with a nice bar and cold beers on tap.

We took 4 clients here on a Tuesday night. Worst dinner in years. It wasnât because the waitress was new, didnât know the menu or how to find the items on the iPad (We managed to help her with that part. The San Choy Bow arrived really fast, so fast that it beat our drinks by about 10mins. It had 4 lettuce leaves for 6 people . We eventually managed to get their attention and waited another 10mins for 2 more leaves to arrive. WT....Just bring a plateful out! We ended up eating the rest from bowls which isnât the idea of the dish. The wrong wine arrived. Then the mains started piling up on the table. (Weâd ordered a banquet because anything else was too hard with the lack of English and knowledge of the menu.) The plates were massive and round and we literally had plates piled on plates. We joked that some of us could hold some plates so the others had room to eat something. It wasnât that we ordered too much.... it was a banquet course set by the restaurant. Surely theyâve had this problem before and could use different plates. The soy sauce never arrived. We were never offered more drinks, nor could get anyoneâs attention to order any. I assume they donât do tea, coffee, desert or desert wines as we werenât offered any. The food was just average Australian Chinese. Nothing like the Fine Chinese we expected. It would be at home in any takeaway container in Perth. Nice restaurant, good location, disgraceful everything else. Maybe we got a bad night but we certainly wonât be back.

Needed a quick meal and ordered the Sang Chow Bow (San Choi Bao) and Singapore noodles. Top class and the same price as maccas across the road where we have been a few days earlier. Know where we are going next time.

Where to eat Seafood food in Bicton: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This restaurant was once highly recommended. I recall reading newspaper reviews. I had eaten there twice before and was happy with the freshness of the food and variety. However, my last meal - a takeout - was terrible. Could only eat two mouthfuls before throwing it out. Sweet and sour fish. Dreadful gloop. The fish was not quality or fresh. The vegetables were carrot, cucumber and one other item. Fortunately we ordered white rice too and we could eat that. The price was the highest I have paid for Asian takeout food. Won't be going back. Perhaps people dining in the restaurant get better quality ..... because they can complain while they are eating it. Takeout customers don't try the food until they are kilometres away, at home.

This place gets so busy with regulars, youâre lucky to snag a table without a booking. But the food is delicious and quite authentic. You can never go wrong with momos and a curry with a side of puri. Add a Nepalese beer and youâre set. Not our first visit here and wonât be our last!

Haven't been to Map Thai for a few years and forgot how good it is. Ordered a range of dishes and were amazed everyone was excellent. Hard to fault. Staff were excellent and looked after us. Online table booking system failed us, but staff quickly sorted this out and placed us at a table.

The Modern Eatery offers the sashimi and sushi staples along with a range of small Japanese dishes in a tapas style such as tempura, gyoza and croquettes. Everything we had was good quality and delicious. We ordered 6 dishes between the two of us and we were full. This casual restaurant is deservedly popular as there were no free tables at 8pm on a Wednesday so it is worth making a reservation. Food prices are very reasonable but we thought the wine was a little expensive for a casual eatery with the cheapest at $42 a bottle. You can however BYO for a cottage charge of $10. Would definitely eat here again.

We have been to Sohe twice, and fallen in love with the food. Itâs fresh, interesting, incredibly tasty and reasonably priced.However...I am guessing that there is a tense period in the life of a restaurateur in which they are trying to build a clientele, but canât really afford to staff the restaurant as well as they might like.Sohe is squarely in that space right now. We waited thirty minutes just to get the leftovers boxed up to take home, and there was a table of six near us who were heading for a riot or a walkout. But I would be inclined to give Sohe a third, fourth or even fifth chance because the food is so good. The curries and stir fries are just sensational, the chicken curry spring rolls are much better than they sound, and the desserts look incredible. But we got impatient and left without trying one :(Give it a whirl, try and be patient, and you will be rewarded.

This restaurant was close to our accommodation and so good we eat here twice in one week.It is clearly extremely popular and having eaten here, I understand why. Our food was delicious and having eaten in many indian restaurants, I can confirm it was one of the best we've experienced. The staff were attentive without being overpowering. The food was beautifully cooked and arrived in a timely fashion. The house wine was excellent and whilst we lingered somewhat over the meal, we did not feel under pressure to eat up and get out quickly. The staff were amused by our slighty over zealous ordering and kindly arranged 'doggy bags' of our surplus food for us to eat the next day! ( Just as delicious then too!) My only regret is that as I was on holiday in Freo that I will not be back again for some time!
