What a joy. Every dish was tasty. We had an assortment of fried dumplings and samosas, bo bun and caramelized pork. All yummi! Staff is friendly. The place could look more charming, but hey, youâre at an asian restaurant :-). Not pricy at all.

The proprietor of the Palais Angkor in Vichy welcomed us into his restaurant for what was to be a delightfully tasty Cambodian luncheon. He assisted us in a most courteous manner with the ordering of our entrées, all of which proved to be delicious. We selected Fondue thai from the spéciallités fondues. This was prepared at our table and consisted of chicken, shell fish, calamar, fish, along with rice noddles, bamboo shoots, a variety of fresh vegetables, nouille de riz, and a most enjoyable varied selection of Cambodian condiments. We also enjoyed the rouleaux decrabe, along with a half-liter of the house rosé. The fondue thai was quite filling, with more than enough for four or five persons. For dessert there was a wide selection of fruits, cakes (do try the perle de coco å la vapeur), and a extensive choice of ice cream. If you find yourself in France wanting to have an East meets West dining experience and you just happen to be in Vichy, this restaurant will not disappoint you with its varied culinary treats of very good Cambodian viands.

After a bit of doubts (the restaurant only has 19 reviews) we tried this restaurant. The starter - summer rolls - were so-so, but the main courses were truly delicious. We ordered a âAngorâ chicken and the peppered beef. Iâm normally more used to the Thai kitchen, but this was quite a phenomenal new taste. Definitely recommend it :-).
