Pek-Hai has been around for as long as I can remember. It's menu has remained fairlyconstant despite very rare changes in management, yet quality of all the portions we have tasted there is usually excellent. We have some firm favourites hot and sour soup, fried wonton in spicy sauce, fried rice with vegetable, fried mushrooms, beef with eggplant and the delicious chicken Szechuan. There is nothing fancy about this place, but food and welcome are second to none and its just a good place to eat fresh delicious Chinese food from a wide variety of dishes that they prepare. Taizu - Asia Terranean Kitchen, A new concept restaurant based on chef Yuval Ben Neriah's personal interpretation of street foods of five countries in South East Asia - India, China, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The restaurant belongs to the fine casua
We had a nice tasting menu with lots of tastes and colors which was really nice. None of the dishes blew me away. I agree it is good quality and nice presentation but disagree that this is the best in the country. Waiters were a bit stuck up and it is too dark inspite of the (very cute) table lamps. So not the no.1 experience of Israeli resto, nice though. Probably a matter of high expectations on my part.

We love fresh warm veggie sushi rolls, but we we have been served 3 times at Japanika were more on the colder old tasting side. Maybe they pre make their veggie rolls, I don't know, but they certainly are not made with freshly cooked, warm rice For the money, it's not worth going there. The patio area is nice though and the view of the sea is great. The non vegan food I see people eating looks good, so give it a try but if you're strictly vegan, don't expect much.
