Pretty good Korean food, including some excellent bulgogi. Atmosphere was nice and the restaurant itself was well-decorated. Staff were decent, although many of them struggled to speak or understand English. Not necessarily their fault, but it did make communicating a bit hard.

As a traveller, sometimes you operate on autopilot, you're tired and hungry and you see a familiar food chain, and you just go into the long line-up and wait and wait. I almost did that in Banff recently in the Cascade Plaza Food Court, lining up for some good Japanese food. But then I noticed the next-door outlet, Taste of Sri Lanka only had a couple of people, and so I bailed on the big line-up and went there. I'm so glad I did! Their food is REALLY tasty, lots of choices, and the people are very, very nice. Not to say the other outlets in the food court aren't, but this place is truly special. I had the butter chicken, noodles, a mixed veg, and a scoop of very very delicious egg plant. I was hungry, and the food was gone before I remembered to take a picture, that says something! YUM! So you get a two-for-one: excellent food, short line-up. Yay!

We enjoyed a great lunch. The food was tasty and nicely presented. The restaurant could do with a 'facelift' but who cares when the food is good

The restaurant is tucked behind the mall, we accidentally walk by many times, but didn't realize it was there. The special basil sauce with shrimp is excellence, the pad see ew were off (too sweet and missing some flavor), the red curry is good. The only issue is they automatically added the tips, which we don't mind with the good service. The price is reasonable.

Come enjoy an appetizing creation at Silver Dragon Restaurant. They are open nightly all week. You can get there not only by car but also by bicycle and can have your dish simply delivered at home.
We ate dinner here the first night in Banff and really enjoyed. Our waiter was rather stiff at the beginning but soon warmed up and even began joking a little bit with us. We ordered a shrimp dish and thought rice would come with it. It didn't but he was back within 30 seconds with a side dish of rice.

There were four of us and the youngest (my 21 year old daughter) was getting hangry. I was the only one that doesn't eat sushi but this place was ten steps away and after looking at the menu in the window, I figured I find a few things to eat that wouldn't kill me. (I am an adventurous eater but its completely mental that raw fish is going to kill me). My daughter is more of a sushi connoisseur, if there is such a thing. She has had sushi in some of the best places in NYC. When the waitress told her to pick something coming past on the train, she blanched. Who knew how long it had been circling? The waitress then told us it could be made fresh. So we ALL made sure to order "fresh" only. All my food was of the cooked variety and all of it was excellent. My daughter gave it a "good okay". The others in our group also said it was very good. The place is small but for a quick sushi lunch or dinner, it's not a bad choice at all!

There were plenty of choices from the menu. Food was plentiful and so tasty. Freshly cooked and smelt divine. Breads were excellent as well. Staff were very friendly. Very well priced.

Before sitting down asked what Vegan dishes they do . A few dishes very mentioned. Among that was a bebgan bharat which we ordered and were surprised when the curry was served with yogurt or cream in it. We compiled and the manager came and said we had not told them that we wanted Vegan? We did not think it necessary to mention as they has said it is Vegan dish. But that probably we can say a mis understanding but there was not effort to rectify it or offer to do something about it. The manager happy to take the money and not bothered if we had our meal or not. Not good service at all. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.Kindly visit us again and we will rectify the issue for you. Please make reservation and send an email to my email address [email protected] and i will personally look after you.Kind Regards,Anish Yohannan

Came here twice during my visit and it seems to be the consensus among the locals that this place is really good considering its in a touristy town.Had the Black tan tan ramen which was really good. Perfect broth and noodles and the fried garlic was so good. Competes with the best in the Bay Area of CA.Had also the Arashi tan tan ramen that was more spicy and basic. Wasnt mind blowing but yet totally solid. Pork was soft and fatty and delicious. And food comes out really fast.
