Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Baguio. Baguio, perched high in the Cordillera Central Mountains, is a great place to escape the heat of the Philippine lowlands. Camp John Hay, originally built as a recreation area for U.S. soldiers, now is a full-fledged resort complete with a world-class golf course. Definitely stop at the city market, where you can buy almost anything (just be prepared to haggle).

I had chosen this restaurant from many on TripAdivisor and was not disappointed. The ambience is very grand for a restaurant in the Philippines and as it was early December There was an exaggeration of Christmas decorations! Very clean. Looking at the menu we had thought it a little expensive but when we ordered the waiter told us that the âsmallâ portions were for three people. So we ordered sweet and sour pork and tofu with mushrooms and rice. It really was plentry and very good. Tea was served immediately and was free. The total bill came to PP 880 - under ⬠20 for three people. Service was also good and attentive. Would definitely recommend it.

We dine here on special occasions.Expect mostly Thai-Malaysian food in their menu, food is authentic, fresh and well seasoned. A bit costly but reasonable. We love the crispy papaya salad, steamed grouper, also in sour soup, squid in red egg sauce, almost evertyhing!(too many to mention) Im not a fan of their braised pork and sweet and sour pork, but my son loves their boneless fried chicken.Order roti with banana and coffee for desert, you will love it too.

Photo-worthy mountain view and interesting Mountain Province artifact displays. Good food too. The sardines pasta, lemon butter chicken and adobo flakes were recommended and did not disappoint. Their specialties camote pie and cloud tea alone - plus the view - are worth the 10-minute trip from the city. The library added to the homey feel. But we were not allowed to bring books from the library to our table.

Love the food here. Authentic taste of korean food. Buffet lunch is just 399 pesos. No cover charge. With all the meat and dishes to choose from, its all worth all the penny you are paying . Lunch time especially on sundays are quite crowded, go for an early or late lunch. Better not eat anything before going there to be able to savor each and every dish.

Whoâd expect that on top of an unassuming building along Session Road, a very unique art and dining experience is waiting for you? This vegetarian restaurant owned by the internationally acclaimed National Artist known as Kidlat Tahimik whose name paradoxically translates to âSilent Thunderâ.The whole restaurant is a work of art itself, the architecture, the real plants and trees, the structure mimicking a wooden ship is just so unique. It houses dozens more of paintings, sculptures, mosaics and other kinds of art, thereâs really so much to see.Iâve been here a few times before when Iâm still working in Baguio City, Iâd recommend their salads, pastas and fried tofu spring rolls.Oh My Gulay is a great place to just have a sip of coffee with friends or family. The food is affordable and the peaceful ambience of this place definitely makes it unique.

Nothing endorses a Japanese restaurant more than seeing actual Japanese diners. It is refreshing that there was no loud greeting upon entering. You are greeted instead by attentive staff. The place is a converted log cabin with a lot of wood panelling, an actual fire place and high wood beam ceiling. There are only a few tables so making reservations is a must. After ordering, we were given appetizers of young spinach leaves and cooked tuna. The food arrived fast, beautifully plated in unique ceramic plates and bowls. We ordered chirasi, salmon sashimi, sukiyaki, agedashi tofu and nasu, and chicken terikayi. At the end of the meal, we were given complementary mini bowls with tiny scoops of matcha ice cream. What a lovely surprise! We ordered a red bean dessert which had a scoop of matcha and vanilla icecream, with whipped cream and gelatin. Oishi!

This place is a typical carinderia for families can enjoy a good meal without the high cost. Must things to try is their cakes. I highly recommend their dulce de leche cheesecake. They offer big servings for groups. Though sometimes service is a bit slow but it's worth the wait.

i've been hearing a lot of good reviews about this resto. and when i finally got a chance to visit this place in time for a belated birthday celebration of my son, we were not disappointed. they did not even hesitate to give him a cake slice (yummy mixed berry cheesecake) with a matching candle to blow, no questions asked on the proof of his actual birthday.the staff are cordial & attentive. they take their job seriously and with passion. they know when to approach by mere eye contact, anticipating your every need - water refill, extra gravy, a new and clean plate, toothpick, and so on. there's ample parking, steady wifi, clean comfort rooms, very cozy ambiance. and the food? you need to go there and taste it yourself. you know what's the best part? we ordered 5 dishes, 8 servings of rice, a pitcher of houseblend iced tea for 6 people for a price of just a little over a thousand and five hundred pesos. it was a steal!!!will certainly come back again.

Tourists and locals must really go here and taste the amazing local food! We had our brunch here. We called their number first â(074) 661 4384⬠to make sure theyâre already open and to ensure that there are still a table for us. At 9:30am the place isnât crowded yet. We ordered Pinikpikan, Dinikdikan (or Dinakdakan), Kindot jen Baboy, and Kinuday jen Manok. We had three cups of rice to go with these. The food was served immediately! We just waited for like 10-15 mins. We were so grateful because we were starving. We didnât expect the Pinikpikan to taste so good. The soup was good for 2-3 persons. The rest of the dishes can feed 3-4 persons. We didnât finish it all. But they all tasted so good. I very much enjoyed Dinikdikan and the Grilled Pork. The Kinuday jen Manok also tasted okay. But weâre porky people. We shouldâve ordered Kinuday jen Baboy. But that would make almost all our dishes pork. So the chicken it is. We only paid around Php 500.00 for 4 dishes and 3 rice. For the taste, the local feel, the fast service, ITâS ALL WORTH IT! And itâs at Tam-Awan Village. After here, you could check out the Garden in the Sky.
