I like Vietnames food and I was in Waldshut and did not want to eat in another Asian restaurant which had a buffet. I am not keen on buffet.The restaurant itself is quite nice but the food is just terrible. The owner's child was running around shouting. I have nothing against children but I go to a restaurant to eat and not a kinder garden.The service was just about and I was not impressed by the quality of the food or drinks, flat cola. Once was enough. I had a sweet and sour soup and a chicken curry. There was hardly anything in the soup. There were more vegetables in the chicken curry than chicken.

Unfortunately this restaurant suffers the problem many "Indian" restaurants suffer from in Europe: Even if you specifically ask them to prepare the dishes hot like in India, they fail to do so. This makes them considerably worse and less authentic. Truly a shame, as otherwise the quality of the food and service is amazing. Its my usual stop when i go to Waldshut-Tiengen, try the duck in peanuts sauce, its really really good.The sushi bar is quite cheap compared to the other Swiss/German restaurants, the only problem is that you have to make reservations like a month before.

We had dinner here and it was not that good... the rice of the shushi was too wet and not that tasty... the salmon was horrible... the service was also not really good... they delivered several times the wrong food and at the end not even all we ordered... the system with the iPads would be really nice, but if the food and service is not good the even the system is useless... I hope they improve... the restaurants itself would look good...

I was surprise to see the very negative rating for this place and I read them. Let me summarize the negative point and explain why I still put maximum rating:Yes the service is very unprofessional, almost embarrassing. It looks like the the staff started very recently. This is especially true for the wine. Indeed the propose a lot of interesting wines in the menu, but it seems that they only have a couple of bottle available. They certainly know nothing about wines. Yes even is the decoration is nice, the room feel a bit cold is they is not enough customer. On the top of that the room is far to cold temperature wise.However cold room is normal for Japanese style. Not knowing wine is not surprising for Japanese culture. The unprofessional service as well just point towards other way to do and difficulty to scope with European habit. They try to do as well as they can but don't always know how. So these negative points are actually pointing towards a very authentic Japanese restaurant. Finally you go there to appreciated Japanese food and that is where they deserve 5 stars! The choice to select from is not very big but everything we tried so far was extremely good. Sometime surprising but always excellent. The waiting time is a bit long but everything was very fresh and well prepared. It is to be noted that the sushi/sashimi are done in nicely selected piece of fishes, resulting of a fish extremely tender and tasty. This is not so often the case in Europe.In summary, we had a especially good dinner and will for sure visit the place again (but we will take warm clothing)!

The restaurant is located in the roundabout past Edeka driving from Waldshut. You can park on the back side of the hotel/restaurant. They have a lunch buffet with Chinese, a little bit Thai and Japanese food. The food is value for money. The nicest place to sit is In the Winter garden. It is quite a large place an very popular for Saturday lunch.

Thai food outside of Thailand is often "doctored" up a bit, usually made sweeter to accommodate "western" tastes. We came here because we had few other options, and wanted to give it a test, expecting it to fail. To our very pleasant surprise, the food was really excellent and the tastes authentic, though served in a somewhat German way. I highly recommend the Thai curries, and the Chinese duck dish was also very good. Tofu dishes that we saw but did not taste also looked great. Service was good.
