Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Ayutthaya. Built just to the east of the spectacular ruins of the capital of the Ayutthaya kingdom, a Siamese power destroyed by Burmese invasion in the 18th century, Ayutthaya is a modern Thai city studded with archeological wonders. Headless Buddhas and crumbling but still-beautiful reliquary towers and wats give evidence of the majesty of the civilization that was once centered here.

Our tour guide took us to this restaurant for lunch before visiting the temples. It has authentic thai cuisine with a Muslim twist. We enjoyed various dishes and all were excellent.Highly recommend the local sauteed spinach and the tom yum soup.No beer served so be aware of that going in.Service was very prompt and friendly and prices excellent.

Something sad?dramatic?big? must have happened here since our last visit here nine months ago.First of all, the young schoolgirl (in school uniform) didn't even bow/wai to us while we came onto the terrace.Lots of tables were not available as they had put the chairs up.The menues we were given were torn and untidy. The plate they brought me, was not clean. So I had to ask for a new one.The food came in intervals of five minutes, the 'Roti' that normally arrive first, came last, and only after asking for it three times.Well, altogether, nothing we want to have again.

We went to this lovely restaurant several times as it was so close to where we were staying. Good choice of food, tasty and reasonable price. Lovely sitting right by the river watching the occasional boat and barge go by. Fireworks going off in the distance added to a magical first night in Thailand.Cheery man singing and playing a guitar added to the atmosphere. They also do dinner on a boat that goes round the island and this looked pleasant although we did not do it. Service slightly variable but a delightful waitress even if we could not communicate with her very well. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is in the newly renovated area called the Jam Factory along the river through Bangkok. A beautiful renovation with lots of potential. Unfortunately, the restaurant and its sister, the Never Ending Summer are relying on tourists and touristâs taste. The food was poor in quality, lacking the delightful blending of herbs which exemplify Thai cooking. My recommendation in general is never order a beef dish, whatever cut is used, it is inedible.Dear our future customer,As what we see, you have reviewed the us by a different restaurant that has similar name with us.Our place is called âThe Summer Houseâ and we are located in Ayutthaya. We are also happy to invite you to visit our place and give us a review :)meanwhile, if possible, can you please revise this review we will really appreciate.looking forward to hosting you

The Sevensea's is a family run Pub and Restaurant situated opposite the Train Station in Ayutthaya. We offer a variety a dishes, from delicious Thai food, Grilled Steaks, Fresh Baguettes and much more. We welcome everyone, so please come and check us out.
Great tasting food with quality ingredients, the meat was tender and not chewy. The sauces were a good flavour without being too hot. We ate pork with sweet and sour sauce, fried noodles with chicken. The portions were an adequate size with the addition of a serve of steamed rice.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Historical Park and it has to be the best Thai food, eat in or in A/C, menu in English, free WIFI which the host pointed out to me. I choose the Pad Thai and it didn't disappoint, full of flavour, perfect portion and prepared in a matter of minutes. My only regret is that I was staying in Bangkok otherwise this would be preferred restaurant daily.I would like you to have lunch with us at Somtum Sukunya again.

Opposite Wat Mahathat.Chikul Road.
We came across this little restaurant after a trip around the temples. Tired and hot we needed some respite. What a good decision. Lovely food and drinks that set us up to finish the touring.
