We frequently go here when we are in the Pismo beach/Shell Beach area. The sushi is incredibly fresh. The prices, while not cheap, are reasonable for the products they serve. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. While they are efficient, they do not rush you.

We had heard this was best Chinese food in the area....which isn't saying much because there aren't many restaurants serving Chinese food and they all aren't good. That saying, this was wonderful! Yes, it's small but 12 small tables easily fit without being crowded and decor was pleasant. Service was good but food was the best. My husband always compares places with their pan-fried noodles. These were crispy....just as he likes it....with plenty of veggies and meat...the best he's ever had, he said! We also had sesame chicken which tasted light and fresh with just the right amount of sauce, not overly soaked. We took home an order of chow mein which looks wonderful....haven't tried yet. Of course, they have take out. We will definitely be here again but, remember, it's closed on Mondays. Highly recommend you go there!

After reading about Goshi on some websites, my wife and I decided to give it a try to satisfy our need for some Japanese cuisine. Wow....we were not disappointed. Fantastic meal and great service! Our dinners included tempura, sushi, tataki and much more. Fun, fun place in the Creamery. San Luis Obispo has all kinds of great food and Goshi now ranks up there as one of our favorites. I recommend you make a reservation as this place gets crowded, especially on weekends!

This was my fault: I am on a strict diet and wanted won ton soup but my family wanted thai. I thought that I saw what I wanted on the restaurant's website and agreed to go. The poor waitress was very new on the job and I don't think that she knew what I was looking for. What I was served was very different. The manager was very gracious and offered another dish. I would not allow myself to have what I really wanted, phad thai. My nephew ordered it and it looked (and he confirmed) delicious. I shared a chicken and vegetable dish that was very good. I did cheat on my diet and enjoyed sticky rice!I would recommend a visit.
