As a New Yorker, I'm picky about my Chinese Take Out. Evergreen consistently meets and exceeds my expectations. A large menu with many popular favorites, the prices are fair and the portions are more than ample for tasty leftovers the next day. There hasn't been anything I've tried that I would not order again--egg rolls, won ton soup, shrimp lo mien, cashew chicken, bourbon chicken, beef and broccoli, and so on. The meat is always cooked well and never rubbery or fatty. Evergreen is also one of the last restaurants open late a night, so it's perfect for midnight snackers.

Today is 6/10/15. Hubby and I decided to try something new for dinner. We should have known by the three cars outside to just keep driving. They advertise over 100 items, on 6 tables. There were 3 tables, barely any food in most trays. The food was BAD. GREASY, NO taste, mostly batter on the fried items and worst of all... C O L D !!!! Not even the tea was HOT !!! I looked around at the floor, and the ceiling and under the hot tables. FILTHY .... There was food sitting out alone on a table, raw food, and I guess that maybe was for cooking later? No ice, No nothing. It was just sitting atop a table. And that's where the desserts were. We ate some food, just to try it. They offer a coupon for $2 off an adult dinner. If that place was FREE, I wouldn't send my worse enemy there to eat. It should be reported to the Board of Health, which I will do tomorrow !!

If you like hibachi style dining, you will enjoy Sakura. The menu is what one would expect, with a wide variety of choices of hibachi dinners, sushi, sashimi, and interesting cocktails. Portions are very generous, with plenty left for lunch the next day. What makes this restaurant stand out is the service. From the moment one walks in, one is greeted with smiles. Every person on the staff is friendly and welcoming. In particular, the gentleman who greeted us when we arrived made us feel like regulars. Also, I was impressed with our chef's extra efforts to accommodate the seafood allergy of a guest at our table. My daughter recommended this restaurant, and we are glad we visited.

Man, this place... never disappointed, always leave full, and the freshness of the fish is always top notch! I even get messages on Facebook messenger when they have uni in stock! Nice selection of Saki, and beers. Will always go back when it's time for sushi to get in my belly!

I have been searching for a restaurant like this in Winter Haven for approximately 20 years, search over. This unpretentious Restaurant is in a strip mall and has early American furniture in the dining room. This was our first visit and we ordered egg rolls for an appetizer, they were served piping hot, crispy and with a delicious sauce, an outstanding starter. The chicken, shrimp and fried rice arrived on time accompanied by a terrific sauce. The owner was modifying his menu and gave us a sample to take home. I am much too full to even think about food, less alone eat it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Considering Winter Haven is not a big Metropolis, didn't expect much. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable and efficient. Only drawback small facility, a bit loud and parking not exactly optimal in Downtown Winter Haven unless you use the garage a block away. Otherwise would have received five star

We have been eating at Osakas for several years. Now that this Osaka has opened closer to home, we discovered how great it is for lunch.I always get the Osaka special which comes with steak and chicken for 9 dollars. Great price for dinner and a show.
