Relatively new place in the Plymouth-Green Shopping Center. It's quickly become popular as the food and service are very good. The Korean community is growing in Ann Arbor, especially among the UM student body and they want a nice restaurant that serves traditional fare - this is it.

Hadn't had Korean food in awhile, so this was a treat. The spicy tuna salad came and was more of an entree portion, especially with all the traditional sides that come along. I loved the kimchi and the cold mashed potatoes seasoned sort of like potato salad. There were also various pickled vegetables. When my Bul Go KI arrived, I knew I was in trouble - a heaping pile of beef atop onions - and I had ordered a combo, so I also was served a generous bowl of soft tofu seafood stew, with shrimp and clams... Needless to say I couldn't finish. Great dinner, friendly service.

If you want a friendly, good basic American food for breakfast (I've only ever had breakfast there) then Bell's is a place you must go to. And if you want Korean, well, the world is your oyster.Good old-fashioned booths and tables, well-lit, excellent food, and reasonable prices, the only reason Bell's can't take you back to the good old days is because you've not been there before.

What a surprise! With an appetite and an hour to kill we landed in their brightly painted dining room and took no time to order because EVERYTHING sounded delicious... And it was!The mango lassi I ordered, the lover drank (so we got another). We also got another dollop of the mint dressing for the pakoras, because it was so good and fragrant... At last the chicken polayko didn't disappoint. This is the first time I try this cuisine, and loved it. Similar spices than what you find in Indian cuisine, but cooked to order dishes as opposed to simmered ones, so the veggies keep lively and crunchy.Their lunch special looks fantastic too...The service was not the fastest, but since you feel right away like you are visiting friends, you won't even notice. If you want to further pursue your Himalayan inspiration Jewel Heart, the Tibetan Buddhist center, is 5 min down the same Oak Valley Dr.

We were a large party and we were accommodated in a large room. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. We shared many appetizers and sushi bowls. The sushi bowls were ample. I found the food quite good. I would eat here again.

3 couples went to Sunday brunch. Enjoyed a quiet corner with impeccable service, as we enjoyed a variety of breakfast plates, visually beautiful, and delicate amounts of condiments (e.g., horseradish for the kielbasa, dollop of sour cream for potato pancakes). Well brewed, full bodied coffees including a perfect Viennese coffee at the end of one meal. Finally, after asking about the freshness of the tortes, received a slice of stale hard Sacher torte. Should have skipped!
Where to eat American food in Ann Arbor: The Best Restaurants and Bars

My daughter chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner based upon the recommendation of several people she knows. The restaurant lived up to the recommendations. Menu items from several areas of southeast Asia. The weather was just right and we ate at a sidewalk.table. The variety of sauces makes the dishes so special. My daughter had sablefish marinated in miso and sake; my wife had salmon glazed with a miso-teriyaki sauce; and I had the wasabi-peppercorn tenderloin. All three were excellent. This is now one of our favorite Ann Arbor restaurants.
