Usually this place is spot on, but not tonight. Must have been some new staff. Our appetizer (spicy edamame) never came. They brought out our food, but no chop sticks or napkins. My husbands 2nd sushi roll was delayed (as in we were done eating before it ever showed up.) Drink order got screwed up twice. They did end up giving us a free round of drinks, which was nice. But with all that being said, we will return, this place has good sushi!

Stopped here for lunch recently; party of 4. Free parking. Seated right away. Plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, with a varied menu. Not a fancy place at all, but service was quick and the food was just fine. All were pleased with their entrees. The tofu was a bit oily; could have been better drained or patted dry after frying. Plenty of condiments to spice up foods, if you needed that. Solid choice, would return.

Vegetables in the koaladnakai obviously came from a frozen bag of mixed vegetables. Rice was not stir fried, chicken not tender, sauce has no flavor. This was close to the hotel so I ordered takeout. I did not ask for plastic tableware to had to get some from hotel desk. I advise to stay away

Gooneys is pretty damn good. The food is way better than most Asian food in Amarillo , a town with surprisingly great Asian food (Thai, Laotian, Vietnamese populations are large in area). It is downtown and popular with the lunch locals. I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant and it is in a very cool location. For those traveling I40, this joint is much better than anything you will find on the highway.TGL

Visited Kabuki Romanza for dinner and ended up with a wonderful memory. The interior is one of a kind as you dine in or next to a Japanese ship. Minutes later, an indoor thunder and lightening storm with heavy rains will surround you...spectacular! Our food and wine were excellent, and visiting with the owner, Rico, was delightful!

Guess I'll cover the only problem I have with this place first. I have come for both lunch hours and most recently dinner hour, you basically get the same things both times but pay more than double during the evening just because you get a salad and some more selection. Recommend coming here during lunch to saving big money. Other than that, the staff/cook was very polite and fun! Food was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean and nice. Overall, enjoyed it, but will come back only for lunch in the future.

This Asian restaurant remains one of the best kept secrets in Amarillo. The only negative comment I have for Ichiban is that there is not enough seating and the space is rather small. However, with that said, the food is absolutely fantastic and the overall presentation is well done. I have tried most of the items on the menu and have yet to find a single dish that exploded with flavor and freshness. My favorite are the curry dishes and the top of that group is the Mi ka Tee. The Szechuan beef is out of this world deliscious as is the fried rice. If you are traveling I-40 it is less than 10 minutes to the restaurant and well worth the stop.

This restaurant is the favorite Chinese restaurant of my wife and I: The service is always wonderful. The menu has been redone and there are some new dishes. The beef with curry and mango was delicious.

We ate here while passing through Amarillo. The food was great as was the service. The spring rolls were fresh. I had the spicy chicken and it was very flavorful. I highly recommend eating here for good Vietnamese food.

First time here. Free parking in crowded lot. Very loud inside. Kids screaming, people on cell phones. Seated quickly and menu was expansive. Lots of options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Waitperson seemed to know what was in the food, which is always a nice surprise. Very busy. People waiting for seats or to take out food were literally on top of our table. Had to politely ask one person to move so I could move my arm to eat. Another young person was screaming into her cell so loudly that I could hear both every word she said as well as the person on the other end of her conversation. She was inches away from me. The pad Thai was good, as well as the spring rolls and edamame and the curry. Would eat here again, as food is good, but just take out. Too loud and crowded.
