The pizza was good. That was it. Salad was foul, bruschetta a tasteless undercooked slab of dough. Have eaten in 15 restaurants in San Rafael and this was the worst service ever. No glasses for water, bread brought after main course, no condiments, no asking if we needed anything. We had to ask for every thing. They should stick to home delivery. An afternoon wasted when there are many finer places to dine.

Tacky decor but descent service, specially for Argentinean standards. Finally a Cheff in San Rafael cooked me a real nice "rare" steak. In the other hand my wife's pasta was overcooked and served with a lame sauce, so in our second visit we both order steak and we both left happy.

Stopped in because I am inevitably hungry during siesta when everything closes down. I ordered a salad since fresh vegetables seem hard to come by in Argentina. It was excellent. And they offer small wine bottles, which was a plus. Great outdoor sidewalk seating overlooking the artisan center.

This is a good place to get take away pizza. One can stay and have it in their premises but its not go much there apart from some tables and chairs!Very nice people that work there but their English is not great, still one can always communicate the basics when ordering a pizza! There are several selection and they all all very well priced as are most food restaurants in Argentina. The do open late in Argentina tradition so don't expect to be able to order anything until around 8pm and don't expect to get your food before 9:30pm.

This place is so unique! They have superb home made food and the bread basket was one of the many highlights. Run by their owners, it offers a limited but very very good menu. The "Humita" and the "Risotto" were my choices and I dont regret it. Highly recommended!

We arrived early, just after 9pm. Homey atmosphere and the table already had fiambres (cheese and cured meats) waiting with 3 types of flavoured mayo, good white bread, olives and tomatoes with basil and olive oil and quite a bit of it at that. They were playing a dj set of "hardstyle" (heavy techno) which was pretty out of place and was changed to something more mellow after an hour.. We were recommended 2 signature dishes - I'm terribly sorry that I don't remember the names - as well as a very nice bottle of Malbec. I'm a huge wine fan, having worked in the industry, so was not disappointed like I was at so many other local eateries. When the mains arrived they looked very similar: stewed beef with meat sauce and roasted potatoes. The potatoes were very nice and the meat was fine. The sauces for both however for totally over-seasoned. I like salt as much as the next person, but this tasted like it was seasoned by 3 different chefs. Aside from the assumed mistake of too much salt I think the dishes were basically the same and not particularly exciting. Sure it's home-cooking. But it's just nothing special. I forget to mention that we tried the empanadas and there were excellent! The bill came to 500, which is of course extremely reasonable. I might go back due to the value and see what other dishes they can offer and hope that it's not so salty next time. I'd recommend to try L'Obrador but think that Al Antojo del Cocinero is comfortably no. 1 in town.
