We were at the Hilton and the desk manager Rodolfo recommended this restaurant. The steak and service was excellent and would not hesitate to return. The restaurant is a short walk from the Hilton. The location on the map is incorrect as the old location is shown along with the pictures. The location is at the intersection of Las Piedras and Prospero Mena. The phone is 4328050/4240133 according to the business card.

Have eaten here many times as I have visited SM de Tucuman. Menu is fairly extensive with good service and a nice atmosphere. Really enjoy the different pasta and meat/salmon plates.

The staff at Il Postino were exceptionally kind and courteous to this Spanish-impaired traveler. The pizza was very good and amazingly inexpensive by US standards. The rest of the food was OK but we returned for the pizza and the friendly service. Visited in 2009 and hope this review is still accurate.

At Mora, the green of nature and the modern architecture get together to create a unique place, in which you will enjoy the authentic Argentinean contemporary food. A proposal inspired by the search of the purest flavors and the use of high quality raw ma
Fantastic food and service. It was not particularly busy but this restaurant is a hidden gem and the prices are extremely reasonable.(sirloin steak for £8).

Last here in 2017 so this AM we crossed the street to join the hoard of locals and tourist to partake of a reasonable coffee. They have a selection of some âmorning sweetsâ favoured by locals.. you might find them part of your Am Desayuno but not me. Great view from Glassed in area.

I did some research about Tucuman and decided to choose this restaurant according to some reviews from here and also been far away from the new poshy area of Yerba Buena. Resto 9 is inside of the Garden Park Hotel, with a side entrance, and has a typical local restaurant look. Nothing modern or flashy. The menu is not very long but with some interesting options. Service wise, the waiter was friendly and helpful but not very knowledgeable. We had as an entrance the typical Empanadas from Tucuman, but the dough was a little bit raw. The filling was okay but not too hot. Maincourse was excellent, the pork matambrito was so tender and tasty that melt it in my mouth. Dessert was disappointing, first choice dessert wasn't available and the one that we had, the house dessert of some sort of Sundae wasn't good (ice cream low quality, brownie badly done and the chocolate chips was a crush Oreo cookie). A little disappointing after all, but we didn't have so many choices around. Lots too improve.Dear RMartinSD:Thank you very much for your comment! We're glad you enjoyed some of our dishes. We take your suggestions for improving on what we fail, and we apologize for the inconsistent dessert that you ate.We hope to visit again and have a better experience.Best regards

Enjoy freshly prepared favorites in a friendly yet trendy setting. The Restaurant "El Mercado" serves breakfast as well a la carte lunch and dinner. Our menu includes regional delights and international favorites.
We went to celebrate Valentine's Day. It started out well with a wonderful shrimp mango gazpacho. From there, it went downhill. The trout and the beef tenderloin were okay but certainly not exceptional.. The red velvet cake was moist but not extremely flavorful. The bill was out of sight. Very expensive and not a good value for the money but I thought perhaps we could somewhat justify the price by taking home my leftovers. Not so, they threw them away even after I asked for them to go.
