Che gaucho is now located in colonia reforma just 8 minute taxi ride from downtown. You can taste beef grilled on an open fire, homemade pasta, bread and desserts baked daily with an extensive wine list. If you want to avoid traffic and crowds downtown be
This is an upscale classy restaurant in the Reforma neighbourhood, north of the Centro Historical of Oaxaca, maybe a 60 peso cab ride. It's worth it if you want a steak lunch or dinner. They have about 25 cuts to choose from and it is all reportedly Argentininian beef. They have all the trimming too, like Ceasar salad, some nice soups, and their empanadas are great. We shared a desert or too, a house made strudel that was flaky and tasty. Highly recommended, not inexpensive. Thanks for writing your comments at Tripadvisor.Happy for you visiting us and to hear you liked our steaks, all imported from the US Sterling Silver quality, our empanadas daily made in our kitchen the same way since 1983 and Caesar salad always fresh prepared at the table. Thanks for taking your time and come to Che Gaucho, taki´s rate was alright, must be around the $50 (pesos) like you said, we are located in Colonia Reforma one mile from Santo Domingo church, you can walk from there, could be a little bit hot sometimes but the main street Calzada Porfirio Diaz was just completely rebuilt from scratches, so the walk worth it.Our desserts, except the ice cream, are all homemade in our kitchen. we´ve upload some photos in our face page if you are interested in whatch them. Thanks for your visit and the feedback at Tripadvisor.Che Gaucho Restaurant.

Is one of the favorite restaurants Oaxacan society and national and international tourists. The Argentine Grill and "The Lads" is a taste of the rich cuisine Argentina, besides being an ideal family life, business affairs or just to hang out with friends.
Perfectly prepared steak, wide variety of cuts. Excellent sweetbreads (mollejas) as starter. Fresh salads. Very professional and attentive service. We were in the mood for steak, and we couldn't have made a better choice. This was our first visit to Los Chavales - just discovered it out on a walk. What a find! Muchas gracias por ir a los Chavales, y nos da gusto que paso un buen rato con nosotros, y que le gusto nuestra comida, después de 6 años hemos mejorado nuestro servicio y sazón de nuestros alimentos.

In La Toscana we have 15 years of experience, and we are constantly innovating our menu, we now have a fixed menu and additionally use a specialty menu of the month depending on season. We handle the highest quality in our ingredients to make delicious di
We crossed La Toscana, a lovely restaurant with excellent service, located in Jalatlaco just a few blocks east of El Llano Park, off our list last year after management installed several, perpetually-on, flat screen TVs, and started playing an annoying mix of mostly American top 40. We returned to see if there had been any changes and, alas, the TVs are still on (no sound at least) and the waiter turned down the music when we requested it, in the nearly empty restaurant. The restaurant itself is so lovely and elegant that the TVs and music are very discordant. Classical, or Oaxacan music, would be much more fitting. Sit at a table on the right side, away from the speakers and TVs to lessen the impact. That said, we tried the pizza for the first time and enjoyed it. The pizza caprese was large enough for two people to share, and had a very nice sauce, slices of mozzarela, pepperoni, halved grape tomatoes, fresh basil, and olive oil. The crust was very thin and crispy after baking in a wood fired oven. La Toscana provides a large bread basket of interesting artesanal rolls and bread sticks, with herbed butter and two salsas. The waiter brought us a bowl of freshly grated parmesan cheese when we requested it (no charge). Last year, there was a charge (unstated on the menu) for the bread basket. There wasn't yesterday, and the breads really are lovely. Service is very attentive. We always used to get the steaks but decided on the pizza yesterday afternoon. The menu selections have changed so I can't report on any other current choices. Prices are high, equal to or higher than Casa Oaxaca and Los Danzantes, but, in the past, food quality and presentation very quite good. Pizzas are a good value: the Caprese was 117 pesos. On Sundays, the restaurant is open until 7:00 Pm, so it's an option on a day when many other restaurants are closed.
