Fideos were bland in a tomato and cream sauce. The saving grace was the "estofado". A piece of meat added to the plate. It was so tasty that it added the missing ingredient. Pizzas are the basic fare, and the lomito seemed to be more bread than anything else. I'll have to return to try something else on the menu. However, for the hungry traveller this is the stop. Portions were large, prices are on the lower range, and the service was very friendly. The room can get noisy when a little crowded, but if you come early, you could have the room to yourself.

I agree with other reviewers. Ample choice of starters, nice pepper steak (because they actually put black pepper, not white in it). I have never tried a dessert because I am always too full! Lovely garden space, shaded patio, and, inside seating in a classic old house. A nice walk home in a shady neighbourhood if you did decide to hit the dessert menu. I haven't been in a few months, but now I am craving a visit. I would happily put 4.5 points, but cannot confirm if there has been any recent change in management, cooks, or prices.

Nice and cozy restaurant. The choice of dishes is varied and goes from Mexican to very traditional Argentinian dishes. Everything tasty and well seasoned. Price was in total relation to quality. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

When you look from the street, you cannot imagine what you will find once you enter the door. A really cozy place with tables inside and outside. We had the chance to sit outside in the garden in a nice shade under a big tree! The menu has some very good options. We were welcomed by the owners in a very nice and friendly way! Highly recommendable and we will surely come back! It is a 1h30 drive from Cordoba in a scenic route called Camino del Cuadrado. Very nice thing do in a sunny weekend. Thank you so much Pedro for your writeup! We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit to our restaurant and hope to see you again soon. Saludos!

Food was excellent and staff very attentive and warm. We went twice during our stay and the waitress remembered us. They have a good choice of pasta, fish and meat and everything tasted just great.

Was disappointed with this place. But given the crowds perhaps I was in the minority as it is obviously popular. The service was fine, the beer selection very good, but the pizza was borderline awful. We split one pizza with two toppings, Alexandre they called one, I cannot recall the other. Neither was any good we ate less than half and did not bother taking the balance home and given we had nothing in the fridge that was surprising. What this place does have is a fabulous ice cream place across the street from it which saved the evening and we retired with a liter of the best ice cream.

A nice, simple dinner of a shared pizza and salad made for a nice change from steak and potatoes in La Cumbre. The craft beer was served cold and was very nice. The arugula pizza was good, quality fresh ingredients and we were able to get a half-order (a half pizza) for half the price of the whole pizza which was just enough for us because we weren't that hungry. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, we had a great night at the Owl and hope to return.

If you are anywhere near this area then this restaurant is an absolute must. Hands down the best restaurant in Córdoba province, but for us it would be up there with the best that Argentina has to offer, and easily comparable with restaurants of its kind the world over although incredibly reasonably priced to reflect its location. The menu was creative and immaculately presented, with every dish full of flavour and thought. You can literally taste the passion that chef Santiago puts into each creation. The service was gracious and friendly, the location a real hidden gem, and we really felt like we were 'discovering' something truly special (although the restaurant has been open 9 years and we are kicking ourselves that we havn't been before!). We stayed in the posada attached to the restaurant which made for an overall outstanding and uniquely special experience. Do not miss out on this rare find if you are a foody! Thanks for your comment!! We are so happy to read your words!Hope to see you again in Gapasai!
