Easy to find, right on the highway. We had lunch here but it was not a really perfect place to have lunch peacefully. was hot inside and the fans were spinning away without any real impact. Ordered the lunch meal with some Kerala partotta, fish fry and beef. The fish curry was average and the service was not great. everyone seems busy but do not attend to the customers quickly. Slightly overrated and am surprised to see 4+ rating for this restaurant. See my other reviews for standout places to eat in this area.

Went for dinner with family unexpectedly...But the restaurant surprised us a lot..It's only for Arabian dish lovers...Tasty chicken manthi served in casserole ...Tasty broasted chicken..Nice hospitality..Service superb..Location is bit difficult to notice for tourists..Parking to be improved and wash area to be shifted to an another place... Overall satisfied a lot with Arabian taste and all the best for such a venture at Kalpetta....

Must visit place when returning from pookade lake, wayanad..we ordered for a ''food lounge non veg special lunch'' @ Rs. 160/- ..which was worth the price which had fish curry, dry vegetable, chutni, 4 pcs of supperb chicken 65, spicy butter milk, curd and payasam for sweet with two chapatis and a bowl of special kerala rice...I being a goan have tried almost all types of fish curries but can definitely tell youll that food lounge's curry and chicken 65 was one of its kind...Must visit restaurant with decent interiors, class apaart service, awesome taste..it was worth it..I cud not resist writing such a long review on one of the best lunch had in wayaanad...!dear guest,Thank you for dining at food lounge restaurant.
