Stopped here with friends after viewing the Nubble Lighthouse. The view from the dining area of the coast and the light house are beautiful. The food in the restaurant can only be described as average. Non-seafood selections are few, and seafood selections border on being best described as fast-food. If not for the location, I can't think of any reason to eat here.

My husband and I stopped at the Lobster Cover for lunch and as soon as we sat down I wanted to go but he was hungry :(. The flies were abundant and busy which for a restaurant isn't a good sign. After placing our order of a beer, soda, native steamed mussels and a lobster roll we were given a small basket of stale bread. My husbands soda came quickly and I finally after 5 minutes flagged down our waitress for my beer, which she forgot about. The mussels arrived but were in more of a water broth, I think someone drank the white wine they were supposed to be cooked in. They lacked flavor of any kind, just bland with boiled down onion chunks and tomatoes. The lobster roll was smothered in mayo :( such a pity to ruin the lobster with that amount of mayo. All in all a waste of a meal and money. The saving grace was my beer and the fries on the lobster roll plate, but I kept thinking how many flies might have already tasted them.As we left we noticed some customers being served on the outdoor deck, funny because that's where I wanted to sit but was told it was closed:(

We had a very enjoyable lunch. They offered both indoor and outdoor seating. They had a very nice menu-soups, wraps, salads, sandwiches, classic and fancy mac n cheese, drinks and desserts. I had the Summer Berry Salad-mixed greens, fresh blueberries and strawberries, goat cheese, dried cranberries and candied pecans. I added a scoop of tuna salad to It. It was delicious - very fresh and the fresh fruit was outstanding. My husband had the Lobster Mac n Cheese with side salad- he truly enjoyed it. Our granddaughter had a grilled cheese sandwich and home made chips. In addition the staff is friendly and helpful too.

We stayed just up the street at an inn and this place was recommended. It was a short walk and we got right in and sat outside (they are first come first served). There were heaters on the porch so although it was chilly, we were plenty warm. The service was great, very personable. I had a seasonal sangria to drink. It was awesome. Not overly sweet which can be the case sometimes with sangria. We got a plantain chip app that was delicious. I had the wasabi tuna meal and my partner had the fish ad chips. We both agreed it was some of the best f/c we've ever had! After dinner we had a boozy coffee drink and shared the cheesecake which is made a local bakery. The blueberry compote was outstanding! The owner also happened to be outside on the porch chatting with customers and even brought out blankets for guests sitting outside. Game changer! He was very nice and personable as well. Our only hangup was that there was not a hot coffee drink on the menu so we asked them for a decaf with 2 different liquors and were charged $22 :( Overall a great spot that we will definitely revisit when in the area!Thank you for the review! We love sitting outside as often as we can and we love that our guests do too! We're so glad you enjoyed your visit with us and hope to see you back soon!

We were staying at the Inn and did not want to go out for dinner. Because it was New Year's Day, they were only doing the late night menu but it was extensive enough to offer many choices. We settled on the Onion Soup and Flatbread Pizza- both were delicious. We also tried the Chocolate Marshmallow Martini and the Salted Caramel Martini - both were wonderful with a slight nod ahead to the Marshmallow one. Very glad we came!

Great tasty food with superb service. My wife has. Glutten allergy and the pizza was simply sumptuous. I ordered the chicken with pasta and enjoyed it. The chowder was fresh and well seasoned. The chef came out and was talkative and friendly. Great dinner experience. Charming restaurant with reasonable prices and friendly staff

Open year round, serving american fare with cultural influences. Featuring an open kitchen with a wood fired grill. Lively, fun bar and casual atmosphere.
My wife, two young kids and I eat out often and it seems like at least 75% of restaurants in business are downright awful. That is why we appreciate the Central so much. It is one of the very few restaurants we have come across that is consistently great. The food and service at The Central are always top notch and we know that we will have an excellent meal every time we come here. The only drawback, and it is a tolerable one because the food and service are so good, is that it is a small restaurant and the seating can be tight and the noise a little loud. They do so much business and we hope that plans for expansion are in their future; either here or at a different, larger location. If this place were just a little bigger with more room between customers it would be perfect. As it is it's better than about 98% of other restaurants so we will keep coming back. Our compliments to the chefs and staff. Your team is head and shoulders above most restaurants.

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and wanted something really special and Walkers was exactly that! From the moment you walk into Walkers you know you are in for a culinary experience. Beautiful place, excellent service and unsurpassed cocktails and food. We started with the cauliflower appetizer which was mind blowing; we used bread to soak up every last bit of juice, it was that good! No matter what you think of cauliflower, this appetizer is a must! My husband had a huge pork chop that was cooked to perfection served with potato salad, vegetables and grilled corn on the cob. I had the swordfish which was so tender, served over a mixture of tomatoes, cannellini beans and other veggies, herbs just an incredibly tasty combination. Canât emphasize enough how the combination of flavors is so unique in all the dishes and like nothing you have ever had AND absolutely delicious!!Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and fully described all the dishes to make our choices easier. The drinks were also unique using many locally sourced ingredients. Born on A Farm gin and tonic was to die for; ruined any gin and tonic for me forever!!!Overall, an incredible experience; we canât wait to go back!

Our first choice wasn't open so the locals suggested we come here. The drive to the restaurant was very nice. When you get to the restaurant if you have to wait there is lawn furniture with a beautiful ocean view. There really isn't any parking. Mostly for hotel guests. There is metered parking. Both the grill and pub were super busy. I think a lot of people were scrambling for someplace to eat. After a short wait we were seated on the pub side (our choice). It was later in the evening and just wanted sandwiches. The food was presented very nice and served very warm which was impressive. I had the haddock rueben. Although served warm there was no flavor. I know haddock doesn't have much flavor but there was no flavor from the rest of the sandwich. My hubby had the crab cake sandwich. He did enjoy his. Waitress was okay but didn't pick up on more water, etc. Things were busy; maybe that's why. Not sure we would return.

Clay Hill Farm is the first restaurant in the country to be certified as a wildlife habitat and bird sanctuary. Nature trails, colorful garden paths, waterfalls and a picture-perfect pond accentuate the eleven private acres just two miles from Ogunquit Vi
This is a classy looking restaurant with good friendly service. The starter of mussels in a creamy Gorgonzola sauce was delicious. My New York strip was substantial but possibly a little over cooked. The dessert of the day was tasty but huge and a little heavy. If you are looking for good quality food in a delightful ambience then this is the place for you.
