Reviews on American food in Yachats, Oregon, United States. Yachats (/ˈjɑːhɑːts/ YAH-hahts) is a small coastal city in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. According to Oregon Geographic Names, the name comes from the Siletz language, and means "dark water at the foot of the mountain". There is a range of differing etymologies, however. William Bright says the name comes from the Alsea placename yáx̣ayk (IPA: /ˈjaχajkʲ/). At the 2010 census, the city's population was 690. In 2007, Budget Travel magazine named Yachats one of the "Ten Coolest Small Towns of the U.S.A.", and Yachats was chosen among the top 10 U.S. up-and-coming vacation destinations by Virtualtourist. In 2011, Arthur Frommer, founder of Frommer's Travel Guides, listed Yachats number seven among his ten favorite vacation destinations in the world.

Visited on Saturday 7th September on our way from Portland to Yachats & had the best lunch. We ordered the cheeseburger with potato salad & bacon burger with chips. Everything cooked fresh to order. Could not fault one thing, it was all delicious & very reasonably priced. On our way out we grabbed a brownie & cookie for later, also delicious! Service was very friendly & i wasnât surprised to find out later itâs a family run business. I wish I lived closer as Iâd be here all the time! Highly recommended!

Sometimes, you just luck out and stumble across something wonderful...but twice or three times? That can be rare. The flatbread pizza offerings at the Sea Note are something special. Yesterday, we enjoyed artichoke heart, eggplant, locally picked chanterelle mushroom, house made Italian sausage, 3 cheese sauce, basil, parmesan offering. I pretty much died of yumminess. Previous experiences have been equally fantastic. With a house made puttanesca.... Brava.

The family decided to take the trip from Eugene to Portland up the coast because of the sweltering heat inland. That was a good decision as it was lovely on the coast. We stopped at this place base on hungers and a local review. This is a tiny pub just off the main highway. The view is amazing! The place brews a couple of their own beers and host others local breweries. I would have liked a better selection but as least it was local. The food selection was not bad for such a small place. I got the fish and chips. It was three pieces but was suprisingly only ok. The fries on all of our dishes were burned or very dry. Our favorite dishes were the burger and chowder. Stick with those.

We stopped for lunch and this was an excellent choice. The fish and chips were very good and my husband enjoyed his shrimp salad. But the main attraction was the homemade pies. I had fabulous lemon meringue and my husband had French boysenberry. Outstanding! Good prices and very friendly servers. Clam chowder was really good, also.

We visited the restaurant on our last night visiting Yachats. Frankly, we'd indulged in eating and were looking for lighter fare. Adobe's restaurant had it as we filled up on salads and drinks as we watched the sunset. It's spendy, as they say in Oregon. Two of us spent over sixty dollars for our drinks and salads, including the tip and dessert. I didn't mention dessert. It was a wonderful fresh, warm cobbler topped with ice cream, perfect for two.

We will be staying open through the Winter season this year! Ona Restaurant & Lounge focuses on coastal cuisine. We use as many local purveyors as possible and make familiar dishes fun and fresh. Have an appetizer, small plate or an entire entree. The men
Had happy hour and then dinner at this very nice restaurant. Love the crab cakes and the beet salad and the lovely shortcake. Husband had a pasta dish with all types of seafood in it. Wonderful service and the food was delightful. Nicest place in Yachats and we would highly recommend it.l

The restaurant is busy every evening in small-town Yachats. It is located on Highway 101 among a grouping of fantastic eateries. The interior is small, but there is a larger seating area behind the front dining room. Great for all ages. Great attention to sea foods, and meats, and salads.

I'm as biased as can be. I love going to this restaurant. Not sure about some of the poor reviews they must have had a bad day for sure. We go frequently whenever we are in Yachats about once a month. I love the fish and chips-cod is my own personal favorite. The service everytime has been casual, friendly and efficient. While I miss the toast that used to accompany the fish and chips I think the portions are bountiful. Looking forward to our next visit.

Founded by Nathan and Cicely Bernard, Yachats Brewing located in the heart of Yachats, on the central Oregon coast. Starting with just the structural shell of what was built as a bank in 1965, the brewery and store have transformed the site into a thrivin
IMO the State of Oregon makes the best beer in the Nation. Near the top of my list is Yachats Brewery. Although I haven't tried all of their offerings, my favorite so far is their Perpetua Xtra, a pale ale. Superb. On our latest visit, my friend chose one of their rotating sours. He was very impressed and called it one of the best he's ever had.Wow! We thank you and are honored. Please come back soon; the Devil's Churn Oatmeal Stout is AMAZING.Cheers!Jennifer
