This is a quaint little restaurant in down town Winnsboro. Family owned and welcomimg. Tue hot teas arw delicious, the sweet tea is refreshing and very different than your store bought tea, you MUST try it. The food is beautifully presented and it is delicious. The turkey avocado wrap and the Turkey with figs panini was very good. This is a must visit tea shop.

We saw the reviews and were passing by, thought we'd give it a try. Very average vegetables and while the fried chicken was good it was the only meat choice. For the same price any Duke's Barbeque buffet is way better, even if you must drive another hour.

Cool little spot in downtown Winnsboro. I liked that not all of the furnishings matched (mismatched tables, chairs, etc). Gave it a feel of being in a friend's eclectic house for lunch.Anyway, on to what's important ... the food! I ordered the Troublemaker sandwich, and my friend ordered the grilled ham and cheese. Both were perfection. Prices were very reasonable. It's worth a visit, but be warned: we asked about their hours of operation (were considering coming back later for dinner, based on a dessert item that we heard the server describing to another table), and it seems that Hoot's is open 11am-2pm Monday - Friday. Call ahead to see if that's still the case.

I visited some years back and it's still the same. The food was good, the service was fast. I still love to see them bring the food out on skates the way they use to, like on Happy Days..lol

While traveling I decided to stop at a familiar site KFC! Upon entering the store I wasn't impressed as the store was littered with debris, napkins and straw cases. The men's bathroom was dirty as well, with over flowing trash cans, empty soap dispenser and toilet paper. I did mention it to the front after I got my order, they didn't seem to concerned.The food I ordered, 2 chicken tenders w/ potato wedges and honey mustard plus sm mashed potato and gravy all was well cooked.
