Thoroughly enjoyed the evening on the veranda. Gorgeous view of the course (10th tee) which rivals anything Up North. The fish was excellent (I especially enjoyed the Whitefish) and some nice craft beers on tap. The wine was quite nice too. Service was exceptional (thank you Brooke). An overall solid value and great time.

We have not been back here for well over 2 years. Our daughter took us here to celebrate my birthday. The deli counter is gone and there is a new chef. Many small plates and sides now on the menu. With 3 of us at the table we had taste treats and loved them.

This place is great except for the irrepressible, ignorant, self centered people that leave their phone on waiting for that critical call from the trauma center so they can rush to the hospital to conduct the surgery. Shut your phone off before you enter ANY restaurant. It is what responsible people do!P. S. Donât get the carrot cake, save it all for me!!!Go here!!

After a long day we decided to head over to the Lyon Grill for dinner. I had the steak bites and they were done to perfection. A perfect meal when youâre craving a steak but donât want too much food. My wife had the petite fillet and that too perfect. Our server was very good and the food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Thanks for a great meal.

I unfortunately cannot remember her name (older blondâish woman, very kind..has a son in the military)....I wanted to say a big thank you to our lunch waitress last week while we were out with my Grandma. She was so accommodating, attentive, & patient with my 81-year old grandma. She made our lunch fantastic with her positive attitude and kindness. We always stop in when my husband and I are in town being that my grandma has lived across the lake for the last 40-years. Thank you!

It's a subway, no more, no less. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff here very friendly. The biggest knock is not this particular location, but Subway in general....the actual sandwiches look nothing like any of the advertising material!! (I guess this could be said for most chains....).

My experience with Arby's has been either good or terrible. This Arby's has recently been updated and the new management really has this place humming along. I like the new menu items with the sliders and the gyros. The jamoca shakes are a true guilty pleasure that, thankfully, haven't changed over the years. In the world of fast food, this Arby's is head and shoulders above it's near neighbors.

Captain Joe's is easily accessible off US 23 in Whitmore Lake, and is a decent sports bar and family restaurant. It is unpretentious but we found the food to be generally good - enough so that we'll be back to try more of the menu. It has a separate lounge where they have live music on weekends, and even the main dining room is surrounded by TVs showing sporting events, but at least on our visit on a Sunday evening it was not too noisy or crowded.We both had their French onion soup as a starter, which was very good and hit the spot on a cold winter's evening, and then seafood (breaded shrimp and crab-stuffed flounder) which was good as well. They also have a variety of steak entrees which we'll have to sample on another visit.Service was friendly and the wine and beer list better than you might expect. The only hiccup was when they served a Spanish rioja red wine instead of the ordered tempranillo, but it was good so we didn't make an issue of it.
