I may have been here on a bad day. I was unimpressed. I ordered crab and corn chowder and while the soup base was good, the crab tasted like frozen crab that comes from Thailand. I also ordered fish and chips. It was average. The server was good but was a little inexperienced. Overall the experience was disappointing.
We were looking for a lunch place after leaving Kalahari. This was one of the only non fast-food places around. It was surprisingly awesome! It's mostly a bar, but had plenty of regular seating. They have a great kids menu and my husband and I had delicious wraps. The mac and cheese was homemade and very good, as were the fries. The place looked new and was very clean! Definitely a good stop if you find yourself in the area. We were beyond happy with The Hang Out!

This old school family restaurant is located just a short walk to the Lehigh River and the North Trailhead of the D& L Trail. Trailside Family Fine Dining at 217 Main Street in White Haven offers a twist on the classic American diner. The Trailsideâs uniq
Where to begin? This is not just a charming place with wonderful service where guests are treated like family - itâs also a truly unique dining adventure! You have a chance to pick a protein - meat, chicken, shrimp, even vegetarian options - and have it prepared in the style you like, with appropriate (and delicious) sides! Some of our party chose the southern style with yummy baked beans, corn, hush puppies, etc. Others chose Mediterranean and Asian options - and everyone enjoyed their dishes, as evidenced by all the empty plates! They have a traditional kids menu, but for more adventurous youngsters you can get a âtasting portionâ of the international menu. Prices are super reasonable, too - we canât wait to go back!!

can find it on facebook and yelp. It's a great place at the start of the Lehigh Gorge trail . Your traveler's will love the tip!
I have ordered subs several times from Renee's Cold Cut Hut. They have specials on certain days of the week they offer a particular sub for $4 dollars. They also give you a card and punch it for each sub you buy and then you get one free. I have had their cheese steaks, Italian, and Turkey subs. all were very good.

The areas only Farm to Table Burger and meats( as available) Our food is homemade and freshly prepared for our costumers ! Come see what everyone is talking about.
Found this place on way to another, the crowded parking lot suggested popular location. Immediately greeted, waited on within a minute. Audrey is sweet and charming. Son ordered chopped sirloin with mashed, I opted for the Liver and onions. Both were excellent! Fast service great attentiveness. Definitely a do again.

Everything was full of sugar. Even the fried chicken was sweet. The cornbread pudding was sweet but it was good. The beans were sweet. Desert was not needed. The service was indifferent. It took almost an hour for our food to some out. BYOB. It was full of locals though and on Thursdays they have wings.

Stopped here on way down to Atlantic City. Easy to find off the interstate and ample parking. They are cash only but food is reasonably priced with good portions. The group I was with had the flounder sandwich, cole slaw side for only $1.05, eggs, hot dog, club sandwich etc all were good. Good was cooked lightning quick even though they were busy. Wish this was in our hometown. Itâs a gem. The people of White Haven have a great little diner.

Since 1989, the Powerhouse Eatery has been providing customers with an exceptional dining experience in a unique, historic atmosphere. The former power plant from which we take our name has been transformed into a contemporary dining destination, welcomin
We have eaten here since it first opened and this was so disappointing. From our dinner salads to our dinners- what happened? I just wanted a normal side salad but I was served a salad with the tiniest pieces of different lettuce varieties. Sorry but I like a nice sized salad with tomatoes. I ordered the filet mignon and it was so tough and looked so small sitting alone on that large plate; throw some veggies on that plate please! The sad part was that we left hungry- which has never happened at any restaurant before. Hoping it was an off night? No idea but we were disappointed with our meals.I still recommend stopping into this eatery for the history and atmosphere but maybe sit in the bar area and stick with sandwiches or bar food. Because of itâs history we will try it again, but instead of dinner, we will order sandwiches.
