Newly renovated into a very comfortable tavern atmosphere in 2016 . Give us a try and you will leave very satisfied.
We've had excellent food and service and poor food and service. It really is unpredictable! We went there twice in the same week and ordered the same thing. The first time it was excellent - the second awful! Doubt if we will go back for anything more than a burger. And we won't ever go when it is crowded.

Welcome to 3 Squares Café! We're serving up casual and creative cuisine three meals a day, seven days a week. Located in historic downtown Vergennes, we welcome you to bring the entire family and enjoy a meal in our eclectic, comfortable atmosphere. Noted
Every town should have a place like this--comfortable, reasonable, casual, and friendly. That's worth four stars, but when the menu is creative and constantly changing to reflect local produce that is, as Thomas Jefferson say, "ready to come to table" then a fifth star is warranted. For dessert, walk to the corner and get a maple creemee.
This is not a club in the traditional sense. Agricola Farm provides a multi-course dinner once a month at the farm. You become a member of the "club" by making a reservation and paying in advance via credit card. The organizer, Allesandra (Ale) also one of the cooks,is from Genoa. She and her spouse raise pigs, sheep, and chickens. Before the dinner a tour is offered of the farmThe dinners are held in a charming farm house on the farm. Dinner consists of many courses of both classic and innovative Italian dishes that represent an area in Italy. There are wines presented at the dinner, but participants are encouraged to bring their own wine and spirits. The dinner I attended was carefully prepared and presented. Best of all, the dinner had an Italian authenticity. These dinners are not reminiscent of The Olive Garden or other red sauce Italian restaurants. Each course was essentially a small plate with some of the dishes derived from the farm's pigs. Guests are given menus with descriptive information regarding each course. In sum, the experience is not only unique, reasonably priced, but fun and most importantly delicious.

This is our âsteady Eddieâ for delicious dinners for any occasion or for when out of town guests visit. The menu is inventive but with something for everyone, wine and beer selections similarly please, and service is friendly without intruding on our time with family and friends.

Open May - October, the distinctive decor featuring rough-hewn beams, antique farm equipment, and walls covered in Basin Harbor nostalgia makes The Red Mill Restaurant a resort favorite. The renovated sawmill features the best fresh and local food ingredi
We came her for Lunch while we waited for our room to be ready at the Resort and we really enjoyed the lunch. We started with the cheddar stout soup, that was so good. My husband ordered a hamburger and I ordered the Lobster roll. The hamburger was great and the onion rings that came with it were fabulous, my lobster roll was ok, it was kinda bland, I've had much better. Service was great and everyone was very friendly. We're glad your lunch was enjoyable. We're sorry that your lobster roll was bland, and wish you had told your server. Thank you for coming in to dine.Sincerely,Pennie BeachFourth Generation Host

The 3 of us had fish tacos, lobster roll, insalata caprese, and fried haddock sandwich. Food was delicious, view fabulous. Just what we hoped for on the shore of Lake Champlain!
This past week the small town of Westport NY held it's annual Independence day celebration..this year on July 7. I was reminded that I had volunteered last year to be a witch in the float ..theme being The Wizard Of Oz. So..since we were rained out last year..I guess the volunteer carried over? Every year the manager comes up with creative ideas for floats. It actually helps the deli year round..as the deli itself has high quality foods shipped in and also sells a variety other things. The little extra publicity gives K+D DELI i the extra it needs to fit in with a small town.Westport used to come alive in the summer but then slowed down a lot. Places like K+D are needed to revive it again. I did finally meet the owner Keith (before my face was green) ..very friendly man so it was nice to give a face to the store. I don't know eveyone that is working there now but the ones I do are amazing. They work so hard..they don't call in to work, they come in extra if needed, they are friendly even to the occasional ...not so happy consumer but.. to the ones I know Joelle (manager I believe), Taryn (most dedicated worker I have ever known) plus the younger gals..amazing worth ethic and so young Allanah and Kaleigh..you all are wonderful.Just keep the soft serve coming.
We ate here with family after our Lake Champlain boating adventure. There were lots of sandwich choices. So hard to decide.

Food was very, very, good. Tuna Tartare as good as I have ever eaten. Highly recomended. Prok chop, perfectly coooked. Scallops, for this far inland, were a wonderful surprise. Don't heistate. Alfresco at its finest. Staff were warm and friendly, service a tad uneven or 5 stars. We will be back. This is their first year and I expect the place to be off the charts next year. Chef is talented. Wine, by the glass was pricey.

I have dined here several times during visits to this eclectic little upstate NY town and have always had a good meal. I have enjoyed on multiple occasions the butternut squash ravioli in brown butter sauce while my husband has tried the extra-fresh + crispy fish + chips and the NY Strip... all meals were served by friendly and attentive staff. We especially enjoy dining on the outdoor veranda during warmer months.
