Bagel Chateau is a Westfield anchor, having been in town for decades. It's a good place to grab breakfast or lunch. You frequently see Highschool students eating there, Moms with little kids and senior citizens. It appeals to everyone. The egg dishes are good as are the sandwiches. Weekends can be chaotic and the cafeteria type system doesn't always run smoothly.

Met up with friends here and had the burger. Wow, it was tasty. My friends had salads that they said were awesome. My martini was on point. I didnât give it 5 stars because the fries were just ok, the music is soooo loud, and itâs quite pricey. A meal is $30! For a âpubâ I expected better prices. I would recommend this place because it was a surprise gem.

I have frequented this restaurant often, and in the past had great experiences. However a recent trip there left me so upset that I feel compelled to review it again. First, we called ahead (about 45 minutes in advance) for reservations (which can be done with large parties). We arrived at the restaurant, and they asked us to wait. I received a text saying the table was ready, and when I approached the counter, they told me the text didn't actually mean my table was ready. OK--a bit confusing. 25 minutes later, WITH a reservation, I was told the table was ready--I asked if the text this time really meant the table was ready. We sat down--large party of 8--in the back room corner table. It was summertime, and the room was VERY hot. We looked at the temperature and it read 80F. One of the members of my party (age 76) asked to please turn up the A/C as it was quite uncomfortable. After 30 minutes, the temperature was now 82F in the back room and I was very uncomfortable. I couldn't even stay and enjoy my meal. The service was sub-par and they messed up some of our dishes. Our original waitress must have left, since there was no one in the restaurant around to provide our bill. We waited almost 15 minutes to get the bill and it was so hot by then. On my way out, I asked them why the temp was so hot (especially since it was about 85-90F outside). She said that is the way it is. I told her if I kept my personal home at a temp of 82F, it would be unhealthy. I can understand if the A/C was broken or not working, but they simply CHOSE to not turn on the A/C. They also didn't even offer fans or offset the heat. I am not sure how you can run a successful restaurant when you are not even willing to turn on the A/C when it is close to 90F outside. I will sadly be avoiding this restaurant in the future--such an easy fix. Why even tell a customer to ignore a text that says "your table is ready" or "no, we keep the temp at 82F-that is normal"?Thank you for your review. I am sorry for the confusion with the wait. We do take call aheads for any size party, but we unfortunately don't take reservations. The temperature in the back room is concerning, if you could reach back out to me at [email protected], I'd love to know when you were in the location. None of what you experienced was ok and we do hope you will come in again. As a frequent customer, I hope you see this as a one off experience. If you could reach out to me, I'd like to make this right. Thank you.

My wife and I had a date night and we decided on Addams Tavern. Service was good and friendly. Spring rolls and cessation salad were very good. The scallops were good, but could use a bit more seasoning. The fried chicken fried rice bowl was very good, but a bit pricey for the size. The chocolate chip cookie dessert was good as well. Overall, we had a good meal.

Enjoyed dinner here for birthday celebration...Restaurant is small but comfortable and location in center of town with a parking lot located behind restaurant, made for easy access. Server was friendly and attentive to table. Dinner consisted of appetizers of eggplant rollatini, shimp in garlic sauce, Brie cheese and fruit platter and artichoke with garlic sauce..all delicious, crabcake appe was small sized for price.. For dinner we enjoyed the pork chop, steak, shrimp dinner ..But only issue would be the dessert and coffee prices ..abit pricey..$10.50 for A piece of tiramisu ..and a small portion at that..Cappuccino was good but at $5.95 a cup..pass on dessert/coffee.!!

Our kids gave my wife and me a gift certificate and it was just after Valentine's Day that we decided to have dinner at this well respected restaurant. Reservations were handled without a problem as we were seated on time. Very elegant dining room, with high back chairs and comfortable large chairs. My wife had a salad for her appetizer and I had the coconut shrimp with a mustard sauce for mine. Both were excellent as were our entrees, pasta for my wife and grilled tuna, prepared perfectly for me. Home made ice cream topped the dinner. The service and atmosphere was excellent. While a more limited menu that most other restaurants (there were no specials on the Saturday night) the selections were fine. Highly recommended and it's BYOB. Cost would run about $125 per couple without the gratuity. Well worth the price.

We've been here many times, one of our favorites in Westfield (a great restaurant town)! Food is eclectic, and always delicious. offers a full bar, and service is friendly and anxious to please. Great place for lunch or dinner. There is live music later in the evenings.. on weekends, and maybe during the week, too.

We loved this place. It was Cosey and romantic. The staff was beyond friendly. Our waiter was amazing and was attentive. The food was delicious didn't mind spending the extra money. Our steaks where spot on and our waiter ask us twice if we needed anything and told us he wouldn't bother us and enjoy our meal, if we needed him he wasn't far. Great place for couples who want to just be together or spend a special occasion

This restaurant is small, but nicely appointed. The long electric fireplace mounted on the wall gave off a small flame and, even though it was summer, it was a nice touch. The food was good and the interesting menu included several tasty entrees. Honestly, there were several meals that would fancy your taste buds, thus making it difficult to choose just one. The wait staff was pleasant, and that only added to the enjoyable lunch we had.

So we thought we would try something different for breakfast. I wasted $$ on pancakes. The pancakes were gritty. Itâs like Romper Room on steroids. We donât mind children as we have our own.....but please put manners on them. The service was good and the coffee was good but avoid the food.
