Visited Connors with some friends. I was disappointed and not impressed with this place. I ordered the beef on weck which was cold. A few of my friends ordered one of the specials.... chicken a la king, which was served on top of 2 slices of cubed white bread and very little chicken. When the waitress checked with the chef they told her that everything is measured out and that is the way it is. They never offered a discount or anything else to make up for the poor meal. Usually chicken a la king comes on a biscuit but this was loaded with bread. When our bills came we noticed all our meals were priced 30 cents higher than on the menu. I could see if this only happened to one person but there were 8 of us. After telling our waitress she grabbed all our bills and muttered something about 30 cents and stormed off. She said she used another register and that is why the mistake was made. Why would one register be different from the others?? I know it is only 30 cents and this might sound petty but this is deceiving the customer and if they do this to everyone and they don't notice that adds up. So if you go there check your bill before you pay.

My Husband and I went for a late lunch over the weekend. We sat in the bar room (vs sitting outside under a covered patio) We ordered an appetizer platter with pizza rolls, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, and onion petals. It came with 3 sauces on the side. IT WAS ENORMOUS! Every item was delicious, and we had plenty to take home. Having no idea that the platter would be so large, we also ordered cheeseburgers. They were excellent. Fresh beef cooked to order with 2 slices of cheese, on a toasted and buttered bun, along with housemade potato chips. The service was excellent as well. My only dislike was the LOUD, rap music playing. Usually most restaurants play an assortment; oldies, soft rock, even heavy metal, but not the same type of music over and over again. Overall, an awesome experience with food and service. Music? Please play a variety, and turn it down a bit. (The place wasnât crowded)

Met up with friends for a few Sunday evening bowling games. Very friendly, efficient and accommodating staff. Ordered food (cheese pizza, fries, hot dogs and steak sandwiches). Went with a friend on a Sunday for an early dinner. We were not disappointed. The place was busy but not crowded. We seated ourselves. Our server, Mary Jane, was there taking our drink orders within seconds. I opted for the Reuben sandwich with my buddy choosing a chicken sandwich. Both came within a few minutes and with loads of fries. The Reuben was excellent, done just right. My friend enjoyed their meal as well. The fries were perfect. Not greasy or overdone. It's a very nice, quiet place to eat with a friendly atmosphere .

This establishment is vintage old school and absolutely a find. Excellent libations cold beer and the food second to none. You will love Kimmie behind the "classic bar. David owner and chef is so imaginative and shows his understanding and experience in every creative dish. Hot pepper cakes that people can't stop eating some of the best burgers anywhere, stuffed mushrooms that rival the finest resturant and I loved the fried boloney and onions slider yum too. If it's not on the menu just ask David is a master and Mary his wife a charm. Sunday is especially fun filled with friendly football lovers. I love this place. You will too!

We had take out wings both medium hot and hot. As forewarned they both were very hot though delicious and meaty. Very filling. Would prefer slightly crispier. Caesar salad and broccoli cheese bites disappointing. Would return for less spicy wings

Stopped in for dinner , had the Rueben , great service , nice beer selection, a little confusing with Rusty Nickel Brewery behind it , all though they offer a couple of beers from The Rusty , they are not connected. Odd location on main road yet in housing area ? Overall great

The Best Tasting Roast Beef Sandwich and Platter served at any restaurant/bar. House specialty is freshly carved roast beef on weck. Diners can choose ho they prefer their 1/2 lb of beef (rare to well done). Home made German potato salad taste was similarly outstanding and served with pickled beets on the platter, Tap beer was the perfect pairing. However bar drinks used no mixers - only fresh ingredients. Excellent server.

Shopping at a nearby retailer in West Seneca, it was suggested that the Polked Yolk was a good place for breakfast. My friend and I did as suggested and weren't disappointed. This is not a large restaurant but more like a quaint cafe type place. We were able to get a table though. Our server was very nice and returned to fill up coffee cups as needed. I enjoyed a 3 little pigs omelet (sausage,bacon and ham) with home fries. The potatoes could have been a bit hotter for my liking but the meal was very nice. They serve homemade jelly that was good also. The atmosphere was very friendly and everyone seemed to enjoy their various interesting appearing meals. This is not an inexpensive place to eat but I have no complaint. You get what you pay for.

This a beautiful spot close to Lake Erie with lovely water viewing while drinking cocktails/wine on the upstairs outside deck. Ideal spot except for wires making it a somewhat obstructed view. Too bad food isnât served up there because not only lovely but quiet. Downstairs in the main eating area itâs a bit noisy and although windows with seats next to them, the view wasnât quite the same, especially since they kept moving the shades to protect those who didnât want the sun in their eyes, despite offering sunglasses for those patrons. We just wore our sunglasses because how often is that view available on a sunny Buffalo evening? The food was good, the seafood very fresh and tasty, sauces good, but the biggest drawback to this place is that the pasta is made elsewhere, and definitely stale compared to fresh house made pasta and risotto. And you really notice the flavorless stale pasta That really disappointed the four of us especially since early that week and the following night we ate fresh house-made pasta in two different terrific Buffalo restaurants. We also ordered the huge bruschetta plate and we did eat that all down. Pricy but decent.
