Had a wonderful time at Backwater - the food was EXCELLENT and much different than the other offerings we found available. They offer a "make your own pancakes" option, but, really, if you get anything there, I'm sure you'll be satisfied. We enjoyed the Bayou Benedict, the Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes, the Gator and Waffles, and the Okeechobee Ice Cream. No one left hungry for sure! The iced coffee is tasty and they provide great mimosa offerings as well. The service staff was also great - Rich was friendly, helpful, and generally delightful as he guided us through our first visit. Will definitely return in the future.

We stopped on the way down south and timed it so we could eat here again on the was back. Very good food and friendly service. Cool place! The mahi ruben sandwich was excellent as was the tuna appetizer.

We were a party of 10, and this place did not have adequate seating so they separated our party which made it impossible to visit with each other and the whole purpose of this dinner outing was to visit with family we don't see often since we live hours away. It did not make for a pleasant dinner outing! I do not recommend going to this place with a large group!

For years the Friendly Toast was the gold standard in breakfast in South Brevard county. At some point this grand old lady had run off the tracks. If you don't already know, the lady that owns this restaurant employs most of her children and her husband. For years they have provided quality service and flair with the ingredients they get from Sysco.Last week I eagerly walked in with firm expectations of a consistent meal as usual. Instead for 11 minutes I listened to two of the 5 sisters argue vehemently regarding child care or as it sounded a lack thereof.Politely I asked if I could please place my order. I also casually mentioned to the youngest she should consider listening to opposing opinions. Well, that plan of approach clearly fell flat as she began to berate me and insist I wait to order until she and her sister resolved things.2 eggs, home fries and hamburger patty ordered. Received a mediocre meal prepared poorly at best. My suggestion? Leave your personal issues at homeHello Todd, are u trying to harass us now? You havenât been in our restaurant in at least 10 months, this is the same review you wrote on yelp in November of 2017 which I responded to. Todd Iâm really sorry if ur life is so bad that all you have to do is sit home and harass people who are trying to work and make a living. There are all kinds of groups around which maybe youâd be interested in to pass the time of day. Even join the gym to release some of the anxiety. I truly hope you find some type ofHobby which doesnât involve insulting and belittling people. I wish you well.

Stopped in here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Not knowing that Tuesdays are Live music nights from 6 to 9 P.M. That being said, the place fills up very fast and it gets exceedingly loud. However, the service, food and dink here is absolutely over the top delicious. The menu is quite large and full of fantastic Irish dishes that come out of the kitchen looking wonderful. We shared a Trio Appetizer of Potato Balls, Sausage Rolls and Cabbage Wraps that were to 'die' for! Next we ordered The Pub Trinity...Shepherdâs Pie, Irish Stew, and Bangers & Mash. Served with buttered cabbage and brown bread. Holy Cow!! Talk about a lot of food....no one walks away hungry! Their Black & Tans are awesome as well. The menu is one where you could eat for a month every day and not order the same item twice. I wish that we had a restaurant like this one in our town. I would be here every day for sure.

So many choices of sandwiches, soups, and large salad bar. They have gluten free bread, toast it in a dedicated toaster, handle it in a separate area, so very good for celiacs. I always order managers special half sandwich (rueben) on GF bread and side salad bar. There must be 1/2 lb of warm corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing on that half sandwich. Huge salad bar with many choices. Soft serve ice cream for dessert is included with your meal, I put in a cup with chocolate sauce and almonds. I love Jason's, a healthy and satisfying, delicious meal for celiacs like me. Thanks, Jason's.

Smoky bones in Melbourne FL, must be under new management. My wife and I always look forward to a meal here when we are in Melbourne, and tonight was no exception. We were disappointed.I broke my rule of " you don't eat steak in a rib house"Ordered the Ribeye which came highly recommended. The medium rare came well done, and the potato undercooked. The roasted corn was like it was boiled. One redeeming factor, the service was excellent!

We have always enjoyed our experiences at this Cheddars until tonight. Our server, Syd, was pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately, it took forever for our meals to be delivered. Steak was over cooked. I visited the Women's restroom. It was very dirty, pieces of paper everywhere , but NONE in the toilet paper dispensers. No available paper towels either. As I left the restaurant, I stopped at the hostess desk and advised the three employees standing there, while shaking my wet hands in the air. Not much of a response other than "Oh, okay".

Have been here several times and it is always great for breakfast. Service is better than any other place we have been. Huge menu, our omelets, potatoes, meats and toast were all cooked perfectly. Could not ask for anything better. Will be back many more times.

Iâm so happy we decided to try Hemingwayâs last night before the movies. We sat at the bar and Sam took good care of us. The cocktail selection was amazing. The food was different and delicious. Sam even held our leftovers in the cooler until we finished the movie..! What GREAT service. We will definitely be back
