This busy family-owned restaurant has been here a while, and apparently is well-liked. I can see why! We visited for a late breakfast, so tried both breakfast and lunch items. The menu selections are extensive, and are well-presented, well-prepared, tasty, and filling. If you can't find something enjoyable that you want to eat, you're a really picky eater. The atmosphere is very family-oriented, with large groups being well-represented when we were there. Our server seemed a bit inexperienced, but did a fine job overall. We look forward to our next visit.

Woohoo! Definitely a fan of this place for the following reasons:1. Ambience: Great! Lots of indoor seating (high-top tables, bar seating etc) and tasteful decor. They also have an outdoor area which looks great. Lots of parking. Not too loud or quiet. Looks like a good place to just grab drinks, come by for a quick bite or a nice sit-down dinner. 2. Service: Pretty good service, can't say it was amazing. One of the reasons I gave it 4 and not 5 stars.3. Food: Yumzer! We tried the following:- Bang Bang Shrimp: A little pricey for an appetizer that isn't a sizeable portion ($12). Presented well and tastes wonderful. I'd recommend this if you like seafood. - Lamb burger with a side of fries ($14): This was great, good portion and the fries were done just right. - Roasted half chicken ($14): Beautifully presented, succulent chicken that was seasoned really well and worth the $14. The potatoes and brocollini were done perfectly. The only downside of this dish was the side salad. The cucumber and wasabi dressing was great, but the salad in itself was definitely not up to par; a bunch of regular lettuce, two cherry tomatoes and some cheese scrapings. More like what I'd get to go from a supermarket. - Ameretto bread pudding ($8): This is a pretty substantial portion of bread pudding, with custard and cream. I'd have to say it was an okay pudding, and the custard left an odd after taste (our friends who have had this before said this was not what they had experienced previously). The cream was yummy. Our friends got the Salty Cookie chocolate shake and that was something! I didn't get to try it, but it looked beautiful, HUGE portion, with M&Ms crusted over the glass surface and a ton of whipped cream. We're definitely going back to try one of their shakes.

Service was excellent and accurate. Server was busy, but very friendly. Onion straws were good, but a little salty. Prime rib had a good flavor, but was rather tough. Baked potato, asparagus, bread, and iced tea were the stars of the meal. Restaurant accepts reservations, and we were seated by a window with a view if the Wabash River. Restaurant is pricey for the quality of food.

I treated a friend to lunch at RedSeven Kitchen and Cocktail. We both ordered the apple walnut salad which was delicious. The blue cheese and grilled chicken gave the salad a unique taste. We opted for the house Chardonnay dressing which was lovely. Great lunch with fantastic service!

This was my third visit to Town and Gown. I have ordered the salmon dinner in the past (cooked perfectly), but this time got the medallions of beef tenderloin. It was melt-in-your-mouth and so good. My new favorite thing there. I was a little sad they no longer make their vegetable hash side, but we ordered a vegetarian dinner to share as sort of an appetizer, and that was very nice. Highly recommend.

This restaurant has an interesting take on food. All of the dishes that our party ordered were very good. The blackened salmon was very well prepared.

We were a group of friends that had a wonderful brunch at this local restaurant in Lafayette. Brunch options were excellent. I particularly loved the Better bacon offered. Everyone enjoyed their choices, that included the biscuit and gravy. Service was friendly and attentive (thanks, Emily).

Took our visiting California family to East End Grill for lunch. They were thrilled that Lafayette finally had something comparable to what they are used to in Silicon Valley. The truffle fries were a big hit and the salads were outstanding. We plan on taking all our out of town guests here!

The 1st Drive-In in Indiana! Serving delicious burgers & the best root beer! Breakfast all-day! Featured on The Food Network "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives!"
Boilermaker or not, the Triple XXX should be on every foodies bucket list. The burgers are a tasty throwback to when burgers tasted like burgers and not soybeans. The "fanciest" (or weirdest) it gets is the peanut butter topped Duane Purvis All American burger. And root beer...If you LOVE real cream, natural deep flavored root beer, the Triple XXX offering is excellent. If for no other reason, you have never been to a college town, after the party at 2:00 am, I got the munchies eating establishment, Triple XXX is worth the trip. It's fun, nostalgic and you ought to visit it at least once.
