We went out for a Friday night dinner with friends. It was a surprise. Our friends took us and told us about this place. The food was wonderful, and wine was just as good. We got to the place just before happy hour was over. The apple fritters with goat cheese was unbelievable. So glad we went .Thanks for the review, was this meant for The Cheese Bar?

In 1978, we opened our first Machine Shed Restaurant on the outskirts of Davenport, Iowa. We had just 100 seats, but we started with a powerful commitment. That was a five-word constitution: âDedicated to the American Farmer.â That dedication meant we wor

Dropped by with my wife after a recommendation from the hotel. What a great decision. My wifeâs burger may be the best Iâve ever tasted. The pork tenderloin I had was amazing. The kettle-chips and house made dip were also great. Bailey was very helpful. Put this place on your Des Moines list.

Bonefish always has great specials and fantastic drinks! We use Dine Rewards and this is a great place to get another credit! This night we had the three course lobster meal for $21. Had to have the server correct the check, but that was done quickly, no problem. The martinis are always delicious!

Had dinner here as we had been to other cracker barrel's and had always found the food to be good. This one was on par, staff were friendly and our food was prepared quickly. Overall a good experience.

In town for a visit and a friend told me Jethros was the best tenderloin. So my sister and I ordered â1â with the waffle fries and said we were going to split it. When it was served it came out already split , with the accompaniments on each plate (onions and pickles). I love it when restaurants do that!!! Had unlimited drinks too and while we had to ask for our first refill, the other times the staff was attentive. We also asked to move tables as the a/c was blowing down on us! That didnât prove to be a problem for these folks and we were allowed to move to another table! Very friendly staff! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit there!!! Lunchtime wasnât too terribly busy but I understand diner is very crowded. Food is worth it!!!!

Had a nice Twnderloin Salad and iced tea that was nowhere worth $21 plus tip. The bread to start was van interesting, but nothing I would return for. Reasonable portions and tasty, but overall nothing special. It was a nice design and decor. Service was very spotty. Have never been asked (bruskly) what temperature when ordering. Usually a how would you like your meat cooked. Was very slow to refill tea and water.Dear Mark,Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience. We're so sorry to hear that you did not receive the quality food we aim to deliver and are known for. I will be sharing your review with our leadership team to address the issues with our staff. This was our second visit while traveling. Experience was not as good as the first time. My mahi-mahi nightly special was overcooked. My wife's swordfish was also overcooked. The restaurant is large with a number of dining areas and bar. Wait staff are friendly and competent. There is also a seafood retail market connected to therestaurant.
