Wife and celebrated our anniversary at Ivy on a Saturday night. We ordered the baked brie for an appetizer. The brie was good but the jam on the toasted bread was overpowering. The jam should be on the side. My scallops over rice with balsamic glaze were very good but the rice was very mushy. The sauce was perfect. My wife had the salmon which was touch overdone and dry. For dessert, I order a scoop of the vanilla gelato which was perfect and a scoop of the chocolate gelato which was gritty. My wife confirmed the grittiness, not sure if they didn't dissolve all the cocoa powder. The service was awesome and the setting was great. They have a nice wine list by the bottle and the glass. We both left there with a "meh" feeling that the food was good but nothing great.

Had our second dinner here this Friday and we both had the Holy Grail Cheese. This a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato that you dip in the Grail of a thick tomato sauce. It was delicious. Something different and tasty. Get here early on the weekend- before 6 PM!

Had not been at Olde North for quite a while, but my husband woke up craving pancakes.....our regular go-to place for breakfast was packed, so we chose Olde North, which is fairly close to home. We were greeted promptly and our server, Kristie, introduced herself and got us something to drink pretty quickly too...They have a big menu...with lots of choices. My husband had the Belgian Pancakes with Apricots..he said they were great and fulfilled all his pancake needs..I chose the biscuits and gravy..UGH ! The biscuits tasted homemade which was great..I'm not sure where they got the gravy. It had all the charm, texture and taste of wallpaper paste. I know it was sausage gravy because there were several pieces of sausage in it..good sized pieces actually, but it was truly nasty....I also ordered two eggs, scrambled, to go with the biscuits and gravy. What I got was something that looked like a yellow hockey puck..no flavor at all. I don't know how a cook can mess up eggs, but he/she succeeded.. I was really disappointed because I have some great memories of this place....I don't think we'll be killing ourselves to go back anytime soon.

Contemporary Decor and Casual Atmosphere. Separate Dining Room, Bar, Party Room and Patio. Trivia on Mondays, Daily Beer Specials, Live Entertainment on Friday and Saturday. Special Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet. Business Meetings and Private Banquets. "
We arrived and originally wanted to sit in the dining room, the hostess advised the bar because there was a large party in the dining area. We were very glad we did. We got excellent, attentive service in a welcoming setting. The food was delicious and fairly priced. John was on site visiting every table, which shows the kind of care the owners put into this restaurant.

We arrived before the lunch hour and the restaurant filled up quickly. Thereâs also a drive-up. Large booths in the back room for our group worked. Fairly extensive menu to select from. Enjoyed a corned beef on rye along with crispy fries. Sister ordered garlic parmesan fries which were great! Will go back for those. Loved the rock ân roll decor!

Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
We went to this restaurant twice because it was so good. The chili dog was amazing and the bun is one of the best buns I have ever tried. The Maltâs were delicious too. They were very accommodating to my daughters allergies and the customer service was excellent. The fries were yummy and salty just how I like them. I canât wait to go back.

Here at Hawthorne's Backyard our food is prepared fresh to order. "Good things come to those that wait", and we would like to think that our food is not just good but great and worth the time it takes to make it just right. Sit back, enjoy yourself, and W
This is one of our favorite places for a burger and a beer. We tried the fish fry a second time with similar results as the first. They use pollock fish and give it a beer batter proper to cooking. A better choice of fish, for the price charged, would be in order. The fish was tasteless. They could substitute North Atlantic cod, Canadian walleye or lake perch. The coleslaw was not very good. Besides poor food, the restaurant was extremely loud. My wife and I could not hear each other. Everyone is speaking louder so that they can be heard. Some kind of noise baffling would be very helpful. My wife developed a headache and we left. Too bad, because we enjoyed eating here. This used to be one of our favs, but not anymore. Hi Thanks for your review ... We really appreciate the feedback but we just wanted to clarify that the fish fry we have had since the beginning (10yrs) has always been haddock. We most always get positive feedback from our fish fry so this is surprising to hear. The coleslaw is a new recipe and we are working to make some changes as we have been receiving more feedback on it and realize a need for improvement. As far as the noise goes we are sorry it was too loud, there isn't too much we can do about it being crowded except maybe sell more coleslaw ;) We are grateful that so many people enjoy dining here and welcome the business. We hope you'll give us another try and we really do thank you for your review.

Recently ate at this facility for lunch. Wow for the food portion sizes for each of us at the table. And all the various items we ate for lunch was delicious. Prices were very reasonable, considering the size of the food portions. The menu contained a wide variety of choices. If you are very hungry, this is the place to go, as you will not leave with a tummy that is not full.
