Michael's on the Hill is located within a circa 1820 farmhouse, picturesquely set on a hill, with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains. The restaurant can comfortably seat 84 guests, and has a full bar with a piano lounge and outside porch available
This restaurant is very cozy inside and quite larger than I realized. Very professional staff. The food was amazingly good-the best meal I had on a 10 day vacation. Also, I believe the steak tenderloin was the best steak Iâve ever had-it literally melted in my mouth and was the same consistency as the potatoes it was served with! Unlike other recently posted reviews, we didnât feel rushed at all. Definitely call ahead for a reservation-it will be worth it!

Don't miss out on the Core Breakfast. This breakfast sandwich features an apple cider jelly that is the best addition to a breakfast sandwich I have ever discovered. Check it out, then go across the parking lot to the Cider Mill and pick up a jar of the jelly to go. Also, try their cider. It's so good! Thanks for the kind words! We're thrilled to now offer breakfast at our Apple Core Luncheonette!

I found Maxi's on trip adviser and we decided to stop and try it. We were travelling to Portland , Maine . My husband and I were very pleased with our food and our server was great. The orange juice was great too. We will definitely go there again if we are passing through. Excellent pancakes too !!!!

Located in Waterbury, the food and beverage crossroads, we feature New England's largest & best curated selection of craft beer, proper cocktails, eclectic wines with a full menu featuring barbecue, vegetarian and cozy American fare.
Longish wait but have a drink at the bar or the brewery below and some snacks, if you choose. Pulled pork sandwich is great and so are the collard greens. Salads with chicken or brisket or pork are also good, as is the Mac and cheese. Many kinds of beer and full bar too. Lots of âpro pigâ goods to buy too. Great place.

Vermont's best Hand Tossed Pizza and Bar Fare featuring 19 draft beers. Open for both lunch and dinner, family friends and room for large parties
Went on recommendation of hotel and enjoyed a large salad with maple dressing and a large specialty pizza (The Farmers Daughter) with chunky plumb tomatoes, mozzarella and garlic: it was decent and delicious perfectly cooked crust but overdone on the chunky plumb tomatoes. I guess we were expecting something g different. Lots of other choices on menu including burgers and wi gs and selection of beers and wine. Service was excellent.

Decent food and wide selection of beer. I would pass on the Waterbury version of philly steak. Fish and Chips were outstanding.

Great beer selection although we went for the food. The menu has a limited number of unique options but did not disappoint. I had their version of a French dip made with pot roast - was unique and wonderful. My wife had the steak sandwich which was also very good but perhaps a little too much sauce on it.The place itself has a fairly large bar and a limited number of tables where are a little crowded. The service was fast and friendly. We would do it again if in the area.Dear JdmsThanks for your time and considerate words. We appreciate your visit with us and look forward to seeing you again soon.Cheers

I had heard that this was one of the places to eat. We did. It did not disappoint. The ambience is very nice and the staff welcoming and knowledgeable. Both of us enjoyed our meals, which were nicely presented. Not knowing much about wine, I was given very good advice, along with some sampling to be sure that I was happy with my selection. These guys know what they are doing.

We had a delicious dinner at the Zen Barn last night. Itâs truly a Vermont Restaurant with an extraordinary menu satisfying many palettes. The craft beer, cider and wine selection is significant. We ordered pork ramen, beef ramen, barbecued ribs and a chicken sandwich. Our waitress was so nice and friendly and the service was excellent! Especially for a Friday night I canât wait to bring friends there! Thanks for the great review Jill - the ultimate compliment in this business is when someone wants to come back and share the Zenbarn experience with their friends. Look forward to seeing you again and please feel free to send us a message and let us know what we can do to earn the all important 5th star for your next visit! Thx,Ari
