Iâve here three times now and theyâve consistently been good. Iâve always gotten the wings and they are cooked perfectly. Tonight one of our party got the Philly and itâs pretty big. Fries were cooked right. Service was fast and friendly. Weâll be back!!

We arrived at Abby's based on the Yelp and Tripadvisor reviews. What a cute little restaurant with funky paraphernalia around the room. The sweet, attentive waitress, Randy, suggested we leave for another local place as they were short employees and every single seat was taken. She warned us the wait would be an hour before our food would arrive. But, she offered to bring us soup and crackers to hold us over if we wanted to stay. We agreed. No fault of the restaurant that at 1:00 on a Saturday it was filled to capacity. However, we waited an hour and forty minutes for our meal which was just average. We were so hungry that we ate everything, but had I been served the food in 10 min. I probably would have left half of it. The cup of clam chowder was fresh, filled with vegetables but not as thick as I thought it should be. The fish and chips were fresh and tasty, but sweet potato fries were overcooked. The brisket was just ok the potato salad had too much mayo, The fried shrimp and turkey sandwich were very tasty. The four of us have never waited over an hour and half to receive a meal in our lives. We noticed that many take out meals were made prior to serving the people in the restaurant first. They do make each meal to order. I'd only go back to Abby's if the place is half full, the staff is all there and I'm not in a rush. Abby, the owner, was exhausted at 3:30 so my guess is that it was an unusually busy day at the restaurant. The best part of Abby's is the server. Randy couldn't have been any nicer and she brought us gummy candy and crackers knowing we were so hungry. We traveled from CA and she gave us insight into life in Wasilla, Alaska.

We went hoping Robert was playing music. We've enjoyed Robert's music and good food in the past. This stop was different. No live music, slow, super slow kitchen for a mostly empty restaurant. The food for all 3 of us was hugely disappointing. It took an hour to get cold fries, and icky food. I don't know if management changed or what but not the same quality it used to be.The wait staff was outstanding.

We were waiting on vehicle repairs at the Ford Dealer and needed a restaurant within walking distance. The Windbreak Café was open and close, so we decided to check it out. The Awful, Awful omelets and biscuits and gravy were both good and they kept the drink glass full. It had more of a small-town diner type vibe to it. If you are hungry you can get full at a reasonable price.

It's a typical 'hash-joint restaurant' (it fits the mold - open seating, varied menu, counter-seating available, kitchen in back) but it's LOUD. Part of that is a fair number of people; part is there is NOTHING to break the sound - no dividers, no wall-hangings, nothing to mute the din. When it's 'hopping,' there are too many people in too small an area. The tables/seating is random and loose within a larger area so things get pretty 'tight' pretty quickly. In the 40 years I've lived here I've eaten her a half-dozen or so times and not liked it any better any single time; it's always been 'meh.' There are 'regulars' who swear by it; I'm not one of them.

We had the Cadillac burrito (very good), the spinach salad (unexpectedly excellent), and the BLT (done double, like a club sandwich, but just BLT) --- also very good. The outstanding item - the smoked salmon chowder - wonderful!Located in back of a gas station in a strip mall, this restaurant looked divey and uninspired from the highway - we wondered if we had the right place. It's frequented by locals, but that wouldn't ordinarily mean it was good (could have been just large portions for a reasonable price) -- but in fact, it's one of the better restaurants we've been to in Alaska, and certainly one of the more reasonably priced. It's a no-nonsense place with lots of locals - but it's friendly and offers a good meal - it's well worth stopping by.

Full service restaurant and lounge with banquet facilities.
Our server Jake was super helpful with menu questions. Met Chef Nate who amazed me with something as simple as chicken Alfredo which had awesome flavors and portion size. Visiting from Utah and very satisfied with dinner, the view of the mountains topped it off. Will come back again on our next trip to Wasilla.

A restaurant is a place you go to treat yourself, to be taken care of, to be excited about food. At Evangelo's Restaurant, we have always worked to bring a sense of home in our kitchen, food, and dining experience. Evangelo's is a taste of our Mediterrane
We stopped here on our way from Denali and we are so glad we did!! We ordered 3 different pizzas and they were absolutely the best pizzas we have ever eaten! I had the gyro pizza, which I have never heard of, but oh my goodness, how delicious! My only disappointment is that we canât get pizza that good where we live!

Krazy Moose Subs is a landmark of sorts in our small Alaskan town. Housed in an historical building (one of the few we have here), they have become a fixture for the tastiest subs and salads, and the friendliest staff around. They are always willing to go the extra mile to get you just what YOU want, and the cookies...wow! Always go for the cookies.

Enjoy delicious Housemade food, unique wines and craft beer in a 1930s home. Paired with excellent service and a lively environment, you will have a dining experience unlike any other in Alaska!
This is a wonderful little restaurant. Great staff and wonderful food. It is costly, but very much worth it.
