Established in 1989, Hudson's Ribs & Fish is the Hudson Valley's Premiere Steak and Seafood House! Serving fresh seafood, hand cut aged steaks, ribs, chicken and pasta. Indulge in our famous homemade popovers with strawberry butter...a house specialty!
Arrived late, the last people in the place. We were greeted warmly by host and waitress who we can only imagine really just wanted to go home. We never felt rushed and had a pleasant dining experience. The warm popovers with strawberry butter were a very nice way to start. The family style Caesar salad for 2 was presented nicely. The food was good, portions generous. We would definitely go back if in the area.

Been coming to the Odyssey for quite some time now. Never been disappointed. The food is always most plentiful, hot, and very tasty. Always fresh and to die for.

This was a return visit, My wife and son had pancakes and eggs. I had the Country Sausage Biscuit Breakfast which exceeded my expectation. Around the area I find local diners that make an attempt at sausage biscuits and gravy but are usually disappointing.Perkins offering was really good. The biscuits were light and fluffy and the gravy was well balanced not heavy. The wait staff was friendly and courteous and quite accommodating .

Reopened recently after being closed for a while.
After a long absence & hearing positive things, decided to visit again. We arrived early for lunch & were quickly seated. Our pleasant server took beverage orders & told us about daily specials. Known for their soups, neither one enticed me. I had the Reuben sandwich w/side of cole slaw. Made w/pastrami & the usual kraut, swiss & russian dressing, it was flavorful, but didn't have much meat. Conversely, the Club Salad w/pulled chicken, cheddar, tomato & egg was enough for two people! No fault of the waitress...service was slow; as they only had one chef on duty. Only the salad was a good value & it cost $1 less than the sandwich...Why? A cafe in Pkpse Plaza has better food for less!

We have been here for the Breakfast Buffet on quite a few occasions. Love the BUFFET, it is by far the BEST around. I Highly Recommend it.This time, we decided to try Dinner. We eat out often, usually while on the road, we travel in our retirement. The service was great, the waiter frequently stopped by our table and filled water, coffee and additional drinks. But, the meal .... we were given a full basket of nice warm bread, but only two little wrapped up in paper squares of butter .. for three people. Speaking of butter, I expected more, butter wrapped in paper is served in Diners but NOT in a nice Restaurant. How LOW CLASS. The wife complained about her Salmon .. it was a very small piece of Salmon, more like a Minnow ... fish bait. She won't return for dinner. My steak was good, somewhat over cooked for med-rare. But the selection of steaks on the menu was limited. The future ... We will be going to Outback, Texas Road House, Mahoney's ... they know how to serve a quality meal for a decent comparable price. The Deserts looked great and we all ordered them. They were pretty, but all whipped cream... little desert. We will go to The Daily Planet, their deserts are fantastic.

We've eaten here three times so far this month alone and I have a feeling its going to be a regular for us. First time we both ordered cheeseburgers and thoroughly enjoyed them. Cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. Sadly they don't offer sweet potato fries but their French Fries are very good. Second time we both ordered cheeseburgers again and my husband loved his but mine was overcooked. Third time again he loved his burger but I ordered chicken wings. I was disappointed. I'm sure we'll be back for more cheeseburgers. Maybe mine will be cooked better next time. They have a short, limited menu but the if the food is prepared well who cares. Service is very good & friendly. Prices are typical for this area.

New American style restaurant and bar. Our menu puts a twist on fine American dining with comfort food that has influences of Asian and Southern flavors. Our menu changes with the seasons. We have a private, separate banquet room that fits up to 50 people
Don't let the outside fool you, inside the food is great and the interior is both homey and classy. We were a large party and were accommodated easily and without complaint. Service was excellent. Food top notch. The Bread Pudding....oh YUM! Will definitely be back.

On Sunday I visited the Outback Restaurant to attend a fundraiser for a Friend who is presently Walking across America to raise awareness regarding PTSD suffered by soldiers returning from combat. The food was delicious as usual and the Service was extra special. Amy Ricotta was our Server and truly made us feel at home. Great service with a big smile and a warm personality. I checked in to write this review to be sure she knew she was appreciated...judging by the other reviews besides mine it seems she has lots of other fans besides me. Ask for Amy to serve you and please give her a solid Tip ~~~ she truly deserves it.

Good food, great atmosphere, large restaurant, staff were friendly. For appetizers we ordered oysters (raw and roasted), the raw were great, the roasted seemed skimpy with very little cheese. For entrees we had 2 fish dinners (one with scampi scallops, the other with blackened cod and shrimp), the scallops were large and cooked perfectly and the cod was meaty and delicious, the shrimp were slightly over cooked, the salad, broccoli and mashed potatoes were yummy. Drinks were also pretty good. I would return!
