It looked dark inside, but let`s try it. OK Friday, mid day only a few people there, but increased while we were there. A WIDE selection of fresh burgers with side plates (including freshly made chips). Only one downside; it was 7 degrees outside and no heating on. Mind you the man said as I was paying, we could put the heating on. A bit late. The staff were warm enough cooking and being busy. Great food, good service, fine music.

The ambiance and decor of this restaurant is nothing that you would expect from a sushi place. It is very busy and loud, and you cannot find a hint of Asian decor. One of my colleagues who is a Venlo local took me to this restaurant. I have to admit that I was quite nervous eating sushi at place called 'Motown Steaks 'n Sushi', but I was proven wrong. The sushi looks like a party on your plate as it is very decadent and nicely decorated. It tastes delicious too! However, there are still many signs that this is not an authentic sushi restaurant. For example: you are not automatically served with small bowls to mix your soy sauce, wasabi and ginger. Also, when you order edamame beans you again have to ask for a seperate bowl to put the shells in.. And then I was given a tiny tiny bowl that hardly fit anything.. The service was horrible. They were understaffed on the busiest night of the week so everything took very long. As the place was very crowded and not spacious at all, there were multiple glassed dropped. Also a beverage on a customer. The servant did not apologize.. Shame! So overall a nice place, but next time I will just order take out and pass on a seat.
