I like arby's, but i sadly have to say our local arby's just doesn't make the cut and the rest of my family agrees. The staff just doesn't seem to care it seems like. It could be the location, seems like every business thats been on that lot has eventually failed.

This Denny's just opened in August 2011. Right from the beginning, all of the staff have been helpful in describing foods we weren't familiar with, and they are are very careful that our meal is satisfactory , The owner manager is very friendly with the customers, and brings more coffee himself, if he notices that your cup is not full. The food has all been excellent, We were introduced to food we hadn;t eaten before and have ordered it several times since. There are interesting pictures on the walls, some are historical. The restaurant is at an interstate exit, and hotels and shopping are closeby, a very convenient location, and a great addition to the town of Vandalia, Illinois.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
First, the servers here were some of the nicest people I'm had serving me in a long time. Friendly, accommodating, and quick to get whatever you wanted. The food is very similar to a Waffle House or Denny's. My sausage biscuits and gravy was tasty, and the waffle was one of the best I've had in a while. Hamburgers that others had were good, not the best in the world, but better than fast food. And we fed five adults for under $30.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
After a 2 year hiatus I decided to try Denny's again. At the restaurant I was greeted by hardworking courteous staff. The coffee was ok. The sausage were average. What made this dining experience unforgettable, was the pancakes had absolutely no taste and rubbery it was as to I was eating rubberized Styrofoam. They didn't taste bad- they had no taste. Unlike some other Denny's I visited this place was clean.

First time to Wildfires. Sunday Lunch had fried chicken, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and roll. Good meal for the family. I'm interested in some of the menu items but not sure when we'll get back that way. Nice restaurant, nice food, people should try it once.

Visit Blind Society today to experience a traditional restaurant with a modern twist! Enjoy our signature entrees and house cocktails in a comfortable, modern environment. A great place to gather with family and friends. Located in downtown Vandalia, IL.
Right across the street from Illinoisâ first capital you will find Blind Society. It has everything you would want; exposed brick, good food, craft beers, and soon, their own whisky. We had great burgers and fish and chips. Everything was delicious, and the service was that small town friendly that you would expect. We loved it.

...I won't rate below average for one poor meal by one guy passing thru town.I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side breakfast patty. I've traveled cross country 16 times over the last 3 1/2 years and have ordered biscuits and gravy very often in hopes of finding "The Best". This was not the best, this was barely average. The biscuits were small and not very tasty. They did have good texture. The breakfast patty was somewhere between a hamburger and a bad pork patty. The waitress never came back to find out if I wanted...anything. As I left she was returning from her break from her vehicle in the parking lot.

Welcoming and cozy atmosphere with friendly staff that gave a great first impression. We stopped in while visiting the area one late afternoon and realized as we walked in that it was fifteen minutes before closing time. However, the waitress was very gracious and immediately seated us at a table by the window. The classic BLT was perfect and the side order of sweet potato waffle fries were some of the best Iâve ever had. The waitress explained that the fries are dusted with cinnamon giving them a wonderful sweet and savory flavor. We also had the cannonball pork wrap and buffalo chicken - all good.
