Urayasu is part traditional fishing village, part Disney. It’s best known as the home of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea (and, naturally, the hotels, restaurants and shopping that accompany the theme parks). Most visitors are, naturally, here for the parks, but if you’re interested in the town’s history, a few old fishermen’s cottages can be toured.

Tried one due to all the rave reviews and...Yuck. I just do not get it. The day we went they were Queen of Hearts themed (from Alice in Wonderland) black dough on one side/red on the other with a little white heart. Adorable.Tasted nasty and gross...the ground up meat on the inside was utterly tasteless...

We came for dinner and waited about 45 mins.We could see inside the restaurant and could tell it wasn't full and they were understaffed. The service wasn't great and the food was very expensive. The food wasn't bad but wasn't worth the price and it was better to go elsewhere in the complex.

Normally in Japan the service is excellent. Not in rainforest cafe. The entrance is through a little souvenir shop and then downstairs. We went down and stood behind people waiting to be seated. They were seated and then others arrived behind us. Then the service staff came back and said wait on the right side (it was not marked), there the people who came after us were in front of us. How stupid! The entire restaurant was 80% empty so I have no idea why the seating took so long. Then they asked us if we have a paper from upstairs. We didnât even know there was any paper from upstairs. They made us feel like fools for not getting one. Nobody mentioned any papers upstairs. Then they asked our name and how many. They wrote it down. And we STILL had to wait for the people in front of us to be seated. Finally it was our turn. When they finally felt like it, they seated us..... in the worst table in the place. With an 80% empty restaurant, itâs stupid to take so long and to put customers at the worst table. Thumbs down for bad service.

We come to Tokyo Disney Resort at least once per year and always dine in this restaurant. We are never disappointed. The chefs are truly artists in both flavors and presentation. The staff is exceptional, very friendly, and are very good given our limited knowledge of Japanese language. We now know two of the staff members - Mr. Ohmuro and Mr. Kato, and they greet us on each visit. They have an excellent wine list to go with the food, and the sommeliers are very knowledgable of the wines. The room is outstanding Art Deco, and is a perfect environment for a very special dinner. We always order a set course meal, and add wines to complement the courses. We look forward to going back again.

The design and theming to the 1950's designer is extremely high and the slick, retro metal finish and even the nice touches of the 1950's radios in the window. However the real winner is the food. The baked goods are to an extremely high standard. They are packed full of flavour with an excellent variety of treats, not to mention each treat is shaped or themed to Disney characters and in such a mind blowing way that the attention to detail makes it almost too good to eatâ¦almost.I would highly recommend!

Very easy to get to by train, and there was bit of a queue but didnt have to wait long and was so worth the wait. Once inside I ordered scrambled eggs with potatoes and pancakes with loads of fruit to share with my daughter. I truly enjoyed every bit of it and it filled me up for most of the day as both dishes were huge. The service was really good as well and we got to see the monorail go past few times which my daughter loved. It is expensive for pancakes but I definitely would go again if I ever go back to Japan.

We reserved VIP tables for our daughter's birthday celebration. It was a bit pricey, but we splurged a bit since it was a special occasion.Eight of us were seated exactly in the center near the stage. We loved the show, but not the food. It was a set menu, started with bread and salad, then the main course. The food tasted just nice, but nothing special about it. The highlight was the dessert, we loved the cheesecake. For the drink they served punch and it was good.

We always eat here when we are in the Disneyland park and we have never been disappointed. The food is always tasty, service is great, free refills of non-alcoholic drinks. Overall this is a place of great value and a good respite from the busy park.

Grandma Sara's Kitchen is beautifully themed like the rest of Tokyo Disneyland, unfortunately, vegetarians can not eat here. At all. My husband and I stood with a worker for a while going over every single dish on the menu and found that there is absolutely nothing a vegetarian can eat in this restaurant. This is a bummer because it's another cute place vegetarians can not experience in this park.
